BEAMS Shinjuku — Local services in Tokyo

This was by far the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had at BEAMS. The staff had a flippant attitude toward customers the entire time. After trying on the clothes and deciding to make a purchase, there was no guidance on where to check out. When I stepped out, I saw the same staff member casually using their phone.

During checkout, they didn’t explain the tax refund process—just handed me an instruction sheet. After packing up my purchase, they simply sent me on my way. That was it.

If you are looking for the Beams that is 6 floors, this one at Shinjuku station is NOT it. Google maps is misleading by showing the picture of the other location, even though this one is on B1 inside another store. The other location sucks though and not worth the time. We did find it eventually and went there, as I was shopping, the staff looked at me like I was gonna steal something. I can say I hated that store.
