Title: Extremely Disappointing Stay at Saba Suites - Unprofessional Management Behavior

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Saba Suites, and I must say it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The numerous issues I encountered during my stay have left me deeply dissatisfied and compelled to share my experience.
Upon arriving at 11:00 PM, I was shocked to find that my room had not been properly prepared. This lack of attention to detail was only the beginning of a series of disappointments. Despite specifically requesting bedding, including a bed cover, bed sheet, and pillow, none of these essential items were provided. Spending the night without them was incredibly uncomfortable, especially for my family, as it resulted in a shortage of sleeping space.
The condition of the suite itself was far from what was advertised. The pictures displayed during the booking process proved to be misleading, as the actual apartment was dirty and damaged in various places. The air conditioning unit emitted constant strange noises throughout our stay, making it impossible to rest peacefully. The curtains in the room lacked blackout features, allowing sunlight to flood the room from early morning, hindering our ability to sleep properly.
To make matters worse, there were no hand towels or face towels provided in the suite. When I brought this up with the management, they callously informed me that hand towels were not included in their offering. This lack of basic amenities was highly disappointing and demonstrated a lack of consideration for guest comfort.
The overall experience was so disturbing that my family and I made the difficult decision to cut short our vacation and leave the suite prematurely. The manager, Mashel, displayed rude and unprofessional behavior when I approached them to discuss the issues. Their dismissive attitude and lack of empathy further added to our frustration.
Such behavior should never be tolerated, especially when it affects guests' well-being and overall experience.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at Saba Suites. The lack of proper room setup, misleading advertisement, poor condition, and unhelpful and unprofessional behavior from the management make this establishment highly unsuitable for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Read morePLEASE BEWARE!!! THESE APARTMENTS ARE INFESTED WITH ANTS AND MITES AND ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE!!! First of all the check in process is absolute shambles!! Extremely poor management with ZERO service! Upon checking in, my family and I were appalled to discover the property in a deplorable state. The rooms were run down, dirty, and infested with mites. Within minutes of our arrival, we observed these pests crawling all over the tables and floors, causing significant distress to my family, especially my 6-year-old daughter who started itching immediately.
Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the front desk staff, we were met with a lack of empathy and urgency in addressing our concerns. Instead of promptly resolving the issue, i was inconvenienced by being given a key to another apartment (TWICE) that was even more worn down and posed serious safety risks due to a faulty lock.
After enduring nearly three hours of frustration and not being offered suitable alternative accommodation, I made the difficult decision to check out. However, I was shocked when I was informed that I would incur a penalty for one night's stay. This response was completely unacceptable given the unsanitary and unsafe conditions of the property. How can you penalise a customer for the disgusting inhabitable state of your apartments?
They later attempted to refund me in cash, despite my initial payment being made by card (again) highlighting their lack of professionalism!
After hours of my time being wasted and expressing my concerns to their representative on WhatsApp (whose name I unfortunately did not capture, but who could greatly benefit from hospitality training), they agreed to reimburse me via bank transfer. However, since leaving the property, they have chosen to ignore my messages and have failed to provide any further updates regarding the status of my refund.
Frustrated by this lack of communication and accountability, I have taken the necessary steps to report this business to the Ministry of Tourism and Consumer Complaints. I refuse to be penalised for an issue that is solely the responsibility of Saba Suites. The stress and time I have endured and wasted due to their negligence is completely unacceptable. The swimming pool, gym, restaurant and bar and all facilities up in level 51. Their operation time is as follows:
Swimming pool & gym🏊: Saturday & Sunday : open 7 am - close 10 pm
Monday & Wednesday & Friday: open 10 am - close 10 pm
Tuesday & Thursday open 8 am - close 10 pm
Kindly make sure to take your towels to the pool and bring them back to the room
Restaurant🍴 : Breakfast form 7 am - 10:30 am Dinner from 6 pm - 11 pm
Bar💈: open 6 pm - close 2 am
