Beautifully designed space and fabulous outdoor play space for kids! Wish we had found this sooner on our trip, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
Pros: ✅ it’s free and has an awesome water play space with interactive wheels and spinners for kids - even the young toddlers. It is not under cover so bring a hat! ✅ also has a waterfall / water steps area that looks like the kids can play in - so bring swimmers or a change of clothes. ✅ has 2 outdoor play gyms - one for younger kids that has a roof over it and one that’s more for older kids - a climbing wall, mesh climber, bigger slide etc. ✅ right next to the playground under shade they also had a separate a paid entry play entry that had dress ups, fake play food/kitchen area, more water play and additional optional activities like bead bracelet making or figurine painting (base fee was RM28 per kid, no time limit and you could re-enter during the day). Plus you can hire these cute cars (additional fee) for 30 mins to ride around for older kids. ✅ has nice bathroom facilities next to the play ground and TRX mall and food options right there as well. Great to drop kids off at with a parent and do a bit of shopping :)
Cons: ❌ like most of KLs outdoor spaces we found there’s no real shade! So bring a hat and sunscreen. ❌ Don’t come here when it’s raining - they close off the outdoor play gyms even in super light drizzle. They do reopen when the rain stops but obviously is weather dependent! It was initially closed when we went and the rain was barely spitting, but they did open it up...
Read moreThe play area and walk way is really nicely done BUT 2 things were glaring, I wonder how an iconic building like TRX could have missed this. The toilet and Surau (prayer room).
The toilet in the picture provided, located ay the park area on level 3 is the first Ive ever seen have a high step to enter. This causes the toilet to be inaccessible to those who are very elderly, OKU or with children using strollers. I watched 2 very old men have to struggle so hard to go up this high step, it was so painful to watch even.
The men have only 2 toilet rooms and the ladies have 6 which I find very funny too.
Another issue i found sooooo APPAULING was the surau at level 3, i dont even want to know how bad they did the surau at level 1. It was so HOT, no airconditioner and super super tiny it could easily have been a changing room instead. Please, all malls especially in a Muslim country, please provide and prioritise the prayer rooms for the many many Muslims who have to do their 5 obligatory prayers. Even the walk to the prayer room was so bad. It was very...
Read moreMany parents left their children barefoot on the playground, although no such instruction/guidelines given, but how sure are you that there isnt any insect or even small harmful object dropped or hidden in the grass? Just a precaution note, and who is going to responsible if anything happens.
In addition, the zone A-B-C of the playground are linked, it is very difficult for parents to control their kids, ie a 3 yo go into zone c which is for 7-12 years old. And again who shall be responsible for this if anything happens.
Water play area is just too close to playground, so kids with wet outfit will run into playground, and it became slippery, and the floor is very slipper for elderly or for all children and parents running around.
It was a great place and kids enjoy, but i will think twice if i would have to bring young kids and elderly to this specific area in...
