Omega — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

We were here on September 8, 2016. We were on a cruise that got re-routed due to hurricane Newton. We were able to change up the schedule and still make it to Cabo and went right to Medano and chose the Omega Sports Bar to sit and enjoy the day! Our server, Ricardo, was AMAZING! We had very quick service. The husband ordered a bucket of beers and as soon as he ran low on one, before he could reach for another, Ricardo was there to grab and open a new one. I got a large margarita...and it was HUGE and truly one of the best I have ever had! We ordered some nacho's and they were fabulous. They served it with a very spicy blended salsa that had quite a kick! Could only dip the corner of a chip in, but man, the flavor! My birthday is in a couple days so when they served me the nacho's, they brought me a free daiquiri! Again...delicious! Our bill was minuscule ($39) for the DAY! We tipped well and Ricardo seemed shocked, but we would go back in a heartbeat! It's overlooked a bit as the Mango Deck is next door...but I will say this...being the "little guy"...

Used to love Omega (we come to Cabo quite often) and have done a LOT of water excursions with them. But after today, I’ll never spend another dime with them. Paid to charter a yacht. Was taken out by Spider Pig Rema to the boat. Had a blast. They bring us back and are asking if we had a boat back to the hotel. Well we would assume. But no, we were left out in the ocean. Paid another boat to bring us back to the beach. Then we get back and ask where our shoes (flip flops) we left on Spyder Pig were and they acted like they knew nothing. Called the boat up and I go out and the guy has nothing but an attitude. “Come on board and look for them.” I’m not playing those games. I hope you sold them for good money because I’ll never use Omega or any of the Spyder Pigs again in my life. And if you are smart, you won’t either.

Plenty of others here on Médano beach that would love your money and not...

We went to Omegas sport bar yesterday and used their lawn chairs to hang out at the beach. For $30 worth of purchases, you can use their umbrella and 2 lawn chairs as long as desired. We ordered chicken nachos and drinks. They were the best nachos either of us have ever had. The drinks were really, really good. Service was fantastic. The beach is great and very swimmable. The chairs came with towels. You will get bombarded with people trying to sell you things but that is just a part of the experience. I would definitely go back for the drinks and food! And you will be entertained by the music at the neighboring...
