I just want to say that the staff at this particular location are insane. The only two times in my life I went in, I had to walk right out.
The first one was about a year ago. I walked in and a lady in the store greeted me with a "Good morning!”, to which I replied "Hi!". She then said again "Good morning!", to which I said "Hey!" (thinking: weird, she must have not heard me the first time). I kid you not when I tell you, she said "Good morning!" to me again. I'm very confused at this point. I tell her, kind of smiling, "What's going on here?". I thought she was messing with me. She goes again "Good morning". Until I finally understood. This loony of a woman wanted me to say "Good morning" back to her! Those exact words! A friendly "Hi!" wasn't enough! It was the most bizarre interaction I’ve ever had in a retail store, I had to walk out.
The second time is less crazy, but had the same result. I walk in with my headphones on, a lady starts talking to me. The usual "Let us know if you need anything". I take my headphones off, hear her out, tell her politely I'm just looking around. I try to put my headphones back on, she keeps talking. Something about a discount. I tell her thanks. Try to put my headphones back on. She starts talking to me again! I take them off AGAIN. She asks me AGAIN, "What are you looking for?". I said ONCE MORE that I'm just browsing, and put my headphones on for good. She's didn't say anything else, but instead of leaving me alone, she stayed standing RIGHT NEXT TO ME while I looked at jeans, staring at me and saying things (I couldn’t hear exactly what) every time I touched a jean. it was the least relaxing shopping experience you could think of. Again, left.
When I go to the other Levi’s location is a completely different story. Staff is super helpful but chill. But the staff at Kalverstraat are not well...
Read moreVery bad experience! Be aware that when you buy something in this shop and you would like to return it, you only can do this in exchange with another article from the store or by getting a credit note which you still have to spend in the store and not online on Levi’s website where they have a much wider choice!
After one hour of buying a pair of pants in the Levi’s store, I decided to return the pants which I bought because I saw a different model in another shop which fit much better and they did not have at the Levi’s shop.
I was very surprised learning from the sales woman that it is not possible to get your money back for your return and if I had known this, I would have not bought anything in the shop. When I asked the sales woman where they inform customers clearly about this rule she pointed to my payment receipt where it is written down. When I told her that no one reads the receipt and you receive the receipt after the purchase of the item, she pointed to a small screen standing next to the cash machine where it would inform customers about the rule. When I told her that it says “order online at Levis.com” and nothing about the return policy she said “oh, the screen rotates” but it didn’t during the 30 seconds I was waiting for the credit note (and this is how long usually a regular purchase at the cash desk takes), the screen still said nothing about the return policy. I made the woman aware of this and all that she replied was “it will”...
I left the shop very disappointed and feeling trapped and cheated. I am 51 and this was my worst shopping experience ever. Will never buy at...
Read moreI would not never expect from Levi's staff the lack of support and eagerness to help a Customer that wants to buy their products. After finding a jeans that were suitable for me, I realized that the back label was blank (No Levi's text, like the fake ones). I asked the worker and he said that there was an issue with them and the did not realized when replenish the shelfs. The worker just advised me to try in internet. I tried in internet, but the communication with the page is not secured. Then I decided to call to the shop and ask them to let me know when they would receive a corrected batch. The worker (which btw is the same that I met first day and confirmed the quality issue) advised me to call next Friday and if they did not arrive yet, then the next Friday they should be there. I called both Fridays and then the worker confirmed that they did receive them the second Friday. I went on Saturday and indeed the jeans were there in the main desk in a bag for me to pick it up. Again, after checking the jeans they had same issue. I needed to travel 45 minuts to arrive there and see same issue. I asked the worker who was there to please help me to get the jeans with correct label (Even if I could wait again 2 weeks more) and she directly told me that she could not help me, telling me again to try in internet where maybe I could get lucky ! Unvelibable, I need to gamble like in the casino to get a jeans with good labeling that costs 100 Euros. I guess Levi's competitors will be very happy to know the interest, support and attention that Levi's gives to...
