I dropped by the store earlier today after reading all the positive reviews here, wanting to get some honey as souvenirs. The gentleman manning the store was super friendly and informative, taking the time to explain to me the different honey varieties and flavours. I got to sample lots of them and eventually bought 5 jars. Glad to support local businesses in NZ. Hope they will expand to Singapore soon!

a friend highly recommended this place for its honey mead and fantastic service. we just visited today and it did not disappoint! the owner is lovely - he knows his stuff well and you can tell he's passionate about his products. he even gave us a mini history lesson!

the honey mead and liquer were really good. after tasting, we left with 2 bottles of wintermede and bees nees. were it not for the fact that today is our 1st day in NZ and we have more travelling to do, we would have bought more bottles! love love this. pls consider coming to Singapore! โ˜บ๏ธ

Stumbled across this wonderful shop while wandering around Christchurch. Pagan was so friendly and knowledgeable about the mead and liqueurs and seriously, the tasting was A-MAZING! We were fortunate enough to be able to chat with Pagan for some time and left the shop very happy with 2 bottles and the most beautiful bee painting. Visited when last in Chch, and couldn't have wandered into a more interesting or delicious place. A boring morning turned into tastings of mead and a thoroughly interesting explanation of what mead actually is - the world's oldest liquor. Warm honey, tangy rhubarb, sharp ginger - only a few of the incredible range. Bought two back as gifts as that was all I could fit in my suitcase, but my brother loves it so much we buy more every time we are in town. Couldn't recommend...
