I love the sushi train, but i was a little disappointed by the quality of some of the dishes. Some of the hand rolls were very badly made. I suspect that a lot of the dishes sit there on the train for quite some time without being replaced, especially as many were warm enough for me to be concerned about food poisoning (we were fine though). Other than that concern (which may be unfounded), many of the dishes were outstanding. Unfortunately, the booth seats were split and taped up, which was uncomfortable and felt rather nasty. There was no service to speak of. We arrived and were seated. Staff didn't offer any explanation of how the train system worked, or ask if we needed an explanation. This would not be the place to go if you have never been to a sushi train restaurant. Noone came to take our drink order, or take any a la carte order we may have had, so we were limited to the room temperature foods and soft drinks circulating on the conveyer. We were also unsure about what to do when we were ready to pay, as the only interaction we'd had with staff was being shown to the...

Absolutely not suggested, we ordered a ramen and prawn tempura, I really can’t dig in to the sushi, firstly the sushi isn’t fresh, secondly the sushi on the train isn’t covered, also the ramen doesn’t taste like pork at all, it’s just sweet and it’s not even Japanese, it’s like Japanese ramen in Chinese style soup, also the prawn tempura is a complete let down, the prawn is completely flavorless, the tempura source is literally tastes like water. Lastly the main problem is that THE JAPANESE RESTAURANT IS NOT USING JAPANESE RICE! I’ve never seen a Japanese restaurant that are not using Japanese rice, this restaurant is a complete let down.

P.s. the sushi rolls isn’t even...

I really really wanted this to be my sushi train place. Unfortunately it just didn't . We went as a group for the sushi train experience. Service was friendly but they are clearly understaffed and under trained. We had to call the waitress a few time to get their attention and when asked questions about the menu, the poor girl didn't know how to answer. The sushi option was ok. They randomly had cold pad Thai noodles on the belt as well. Lol have to give them props for having kina and lobster on their menu. The beef tataki was not worth it. Sushi rice was a bit firm for my liking.

Overall, it was ok but I definitely...

The sushi train is fun and affordable - it has your classic sushi types plus desserts, dumplings, and a few deep-fried treats. There were lots of fun drinks but all the cans were pre-opened, which seems unhygenic? Some of the chicken sushi was absolutely drowned in mayo, which made it unappealing to me but maybe a jackpot for someone who loves mayo. No-one checked on us at all - we called someone over after 20 minutes to order a beer. I feel like maybe get rid of the menus if you're not going to ask people what they want off it?

Excellent location with ample parking buildings and off street parks available, lift available for disable and pram access. Nice and friendly staff, attentive, welcoming. Dispute it being very busy, probably due to the location, sushi and food offered by this restaurant is well below average, their seafood on sushi is not fresh at all and taste like defrosted ones from supermarket, very disappointed. Would not go again.
