Hey coffee lovers! 🌟 I recently touched down at Christchurch International Airport and made my way to Coffee Culture The Crossing, just a short drive away. If you’re looking for a place that combines convenience with a cozy atmosphere, this is it. The café’s sleek and modern design immediately caught my eye, making it a perfect spot to relax after a long flight or before an adventure in the city.

As soon as I walked in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and the friendly baristas welcomed me with warm smiles. 😊 The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of coffee options from the classic flat white to the more adventurous cold brews and seasonal specialties. I opted for their signature mocha, and let me tell you, it was a chocolatey delight that hit all the right notes!

The seating area is spacious with plenty of natural light, ideal for catching up on work or enjoying a chat with friends. ☕️ They also offer a selection of delicious pastries and light meals, perfect for a quick snack or a leisurely brunch. If you’re a fan of high-quality coffee and a great atmosphere, Coffee Culture The Crossing is a must-visit....

Lovely cafe to wind down after a tiring day.

Service is great and you can sit there for hours without feeling uncomfortable. They have a mix of people from different nationalities working there, and they are always friendly to chat with.

Love the pour overs, and the juices are good on those caffeine free days.

Logan’s recommendation of the chicken and avocado bagel was perfect, and it was just the right amount of food before I enjoyed my coffee.

Tried their cake the other day which was on the sweeter side, but the yoghurt on the side just made it amazing. I remember venturing to Riverside market for dessert but ended up back at Coffee Culture the crossing after not finding anything I wanted 😂

My friend ordered a ham and cheese sandwich press few weeks back, and she enjoyed it.

Join their coffee culture card, and get 20% off any hot drinks. TnC applies maybe? Not sure 🤔 I only started using that card like two times.

Oh and the location is just perfect. Just right next to the Riverside market, walking distance from the bridge of remembrance. Botanical gardens are not too far...

Perhaps it was the time of day? Perhaps it was because it was a cold morning? There wasn't a particularly large crowd in there when my friend and I went in for breakfast and a coffee.

We both had scrambled eggs and our coffee of choice. The coffees were both very good. The scrambled eggs, on the other hand, left quite a lot to be desired...

I paid four dollars over the top of the cost of the scrambled eggs to have bacon added. It took a moment to actually find the bacon, Because the pinch of greenery that they placed on top of it was actually larger than the bacon portion! In addition to the measly portion of bacon, It was so overcooked that it shattered on contact with the knife and fork.

Do not cook bacon for so long!

You totally ruined the bacon!

Also, I paid $4 for it, but I got a couple of scraps of thin, narrow, over cooked, dried up something, that my dog might...

Ordered the "Banana Plus' smoothie, which turned out be a "Banana Minus" smoothie. It tasted like plain milk with a small amount of sugar and thickener added. Three people at my table tried it, and the unanimous verdict was that it tasted as described above. The Tropical smoothie fared somewhat better, but still failed. The overwhelming flavor was squeezed orange and there were no taste notes even closely resembling a tropical smoothie. Think pineapple, passion fruit, mango etc. If this franchise is going to charge just shy of $10 for a 300ml smoothie they had better get a new mixologist in. The unanimous rating was a "D" for the Banana and a B- for the tropical.
