SATOMI NAILS — Local services in Waitematā

I am a new customer and I will be a repeat customer to Satomu Nails.

I just arrived to Auckland a few days ago and needed an appointment to remove my gel nails which has taken a battering from moving home.

There was no availability for 6 days and i needed an appointment before then I requested if I could be put on her cancellation list. Satomi squeezed me in that day.

The salon is tucked away but easy to find with Google maps. The salon is combined with a hairdressers. Santomi was with a client but i was still greeted on arrival.

Santomi was friendly and chatty through the appointment. I advised what I needed and thanked her for popping me in. I had my old gel off. She knew the colour name and number at a glance (I had the nails done in Scotland).

She sorted out the broken nails gave me a wee hand massage while giving me food and drink recommendations the city. My nails are looking healthy and in good condition following removal. She was a pure pleasure to meet and I will 100% be back...

Worst service ever I have called them while i was in the city that i am coming in 30 mins and i will call you when near by the shop. Booked with them but when i reach near by the shop i called them atleast 20 many times no body picked the call. I somehow find the shop and i just enter the shop lady said oh we cant take you, because you come after 30 mins even though i told her on the phone that i am new to the place and i am walking i will take 30 mins and i was lost. She was very rude infront of other customers and keep on telling me we are booked. They havnt apologize nothing its a time wasters and rude they dont care about customers they are in hurry to close the shop. They immediately start talking in their language when i start moving out. I recommend not to waste your time going there. They dont know what is customer service word. They need to tell their customer if you cant come in 10 minutes we...

Excellent manicure and pedicure! I am very particular and have a high attention to detail so receiving beauty services is often frustrating for me. Not so with Satomi Nails!

Satomi offers a very professional yet warm service: I felt my needs were listened to and managed with ease and flexibility, including effortlessly working around my injured finger. Attention to detail is excellent. Communication is clear and organised. The space is nice to be in and most importantly, is very clean and hygienic.
