Vo was incredible. He spent hours on perfecting my hair and I could tell I was in very good hands. I got a chemical straightening done and he showed a lot of attention to detail around my ears and neck to the baby hairs that are sometimes missed, switching to a smaller straightener where needed. He was also strength testing throughout the process, which I've never had anyone do before. I've also never had skin protection put on my ears and neck during this process, which he did. Its difficult to find someone who will show that much attention to my hair as I have a lot and it can be quite tedious. I can say hands down this is the best chemical straightening I have ever had done. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that he didnt know a lot of English and therefore we translated through the lady who greeted me when I arrived. This did make me worried at first that he wouldn't quite know what I was trying to say, but the whole process was extremely thorough and my hair is perfect. I have never had a job quite like this one and will be driving three hours from where I live to get it done again. I will also be recommending them to my friends as all the staff and customers had amazing hair, leading me to believe that even though there is a language barrier, they are top-notch in what they do and have no problem understanding once it has been translated. Also, I really appreciated that Vo made an effort to know my name and ask where I'm from even though he didn't know...

The service was horrrrrrrible (maybe one of the worst I’ve ever had) but I’m happy with my haircut which is why I’m giving it three stars.

First, he didn’t even fix my part when I told him I have it parted in the center (it was slightly off centered) and I didn’t say anything because I was honestly too nervous to due to the negative energy he was giving. Maybe he was having a bad day, I don’t know. Then, he only styled my bangs and that’s it - no finishing products or using a round brush to do my hair so I left with my hair with a bit of a wave and frizzed. No one would’ve believed me if I told them I just went to get my hair done.

At the end, I find out they don’t take credit card, only debit even though I specifically asked that before I even sat in the chair. So I asked where the closest atm is and he pointed outside without saying anything and when I turned to him to ask where specifically, he had already taken the next client to wash her hair. To top it off, when I checked myself closer in the mirror, I had a bunch of little hairs on my face.

Of course, there are other hair stylists and it seems like there are some great ones but I personally would not recommend this place nor would I...

I recently had an excellent haircut at YX hair salon, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.

First, the stylist Mr. Jing took the time to really listen to what I wanted, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure he understood my preferences. He also made some helpful suggestions based on my hair type and face shape, which I really appreciated.

During the cut itself, the stylist was incredibly skilled and precise. He used a variety of techniques to create the exact look I was going for, and made sure to check in with me throughout the process to ensure I was happy with the length and shape.

After the cut was finished, the stylist took the time to show me how to style my new haircut, and recommended some products that would work well for my hair type. he also made sure to clean up any stray hairs around my neckline and ears, which I really appreciated.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with my new haircut! The stylist was friendly, professional, and incredibly talented, and I left the salon feeling like a million bucks. I would highly recommend YX hair salon to anyone looking for an excellent haircut and a top-notch...
