Made an appointment for vaccination & health check up. However, they gave me the vaccination first then drew my blood. Not sure if this will affect both my health result and decrease the vaccination effect.
Seems like I got scammed for the gardasil-9 vaccination. They sent an email stating that the total cost will only be $619.20. The receptionist/cashier told me to either bill 3 separate times as there’s a total of 3 shots to take in different months. Or pay one shot, the total bill will be same amount. So obviously I choose to pay 3 separate times. The bill came out to be $278.70, * 3 would be $836.10. More than 200$ above the mentioned price in their poster. I questioned the receptionist about the 600+$ promotion, but she said it’s more expensive due to consultation & tax, in this case the clinic shouldn’t had stated $619.20 such an exact amount, should just put 800$+? The receptionist also mention that the 2nd & 3rd shot would not require to pay consultation fee so would be cheaper (haven’t took yet so I can’t confirm this. Not sure why I have to pay consultation fee as my company always cover the consultation fee for us. But she didn’t allow me to pay thru my company). After I went home and check, the exact price they are charging me for 1 vaccination without tax/consultation is $239.50 which will amount to a total of $718.50 (still $100 more than stated price). Also, I’ve just received a letter from HPB (health promotion board) that HPV vaccination can be paid using Medisave, however, I was only allowed to pay using card or cash at raffles medical. I have also emailed the corporate raffles medical email to follow up about this but there’s no response from them for a week. Disappointing.
Update; After around 1 month+ they called me and say I can convert it to the package, just top up the remaining 300+ for the 2 shots. However, I must go back to the same outlet which they didn’t mention at first and I wasted almost 1h queuing at another outlet. All is well now took my 2nd shot and switched to the package already. The only bad part is that I can’t pay using Medisave
Update: government is giving out free HPV vaccination for female Singaporean age 18~26. Regret...
Read moreWent on 28 Dec for Health Screening, Level 1 door staff gave a queue ticket and told me to proceed to level 2 and wait. Did so and waited for 20 over minutes then realising the queue ticket is useless as someone else appointment was later than mine but got to proceed first because they proceeded to counter immediately. Have to proceed to the counter to make known of your existence, otherwise wait till they close before knowing you are there. Next, was told to do urine and stool sample, which I did, but i observed the stool cassette doesn't seem to have any label for owner but seeing the bunch of codes on it I assumed it is tagged to me. Urine bottle has the owner label, so just to be safe, I put both samples in the same biohazard bag. The next day, was called to do the stool sample again as they forgot to label the cassette and have to reject the same (even though in same biohazard bag). So much inconvenience. If it wasn't for the company sponsored health screening, will not visit the clinic or be of choice even when i'm sick. Overall, the staffs that i've encountered are okay in terms of attitude wise, just the...
Read moreWorst clinic we have ever visited! Not recommended at all. Please do not go there. Went to this clinic to get medication for my child for flu-like symptoms and constipation. No art-test done was one concern. However, the worst was when they did not even give any running nose medication at all. For constipation, they asked us to go to the nearby pharmacy to get the suppository medication. What a waste of time going to see a doctor and paid nearly $70 but no proper medication was given. We even had to travel to a pharmacy to get the medication. Not only that, the memo he wrote for the pharmacist was also written as "oral tab" instead of "suppository". Tablet is definitely not the best option for a child who is just 4 yrs old. When we had a look at the same brand but suppository type (as this was the one that doctor explained to us), it was not even suitable for kids! I wonder if he is well certified to be a doctor. He was so unprofessional...
