My recent visit to Lucciano's, the Moon, for a delightful ice cream treat left me thoroughly impressed and utterly satisfied! As firm believers in the philosophy of "Life is short. Eat dessert first!" my companions and I kicked off our Sunday afternoon outing with a sweet visit to this fantastic ice cream parlour.

From classic favorites like cookies and cream and chocolate to more exotic and innovative options, such as the exquisite passion fruit cheesecake that we indulged in, the choice is simply breathtaking. The passion fruit cheesecake ice cream was a revelation, perhaps the best I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.

Conveniently located just a few steps from Placa Real, Lucciano's, the Moon, provides the perfect setting to enjoy your ice cream cone. The option to purchase your cone and then take a leisurely stroll to the fountain in the center of Placa Real to savor your treat adds an extra charm to the experience.

While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, I must mention my one minor gripe regarding the napkins provided. The stiff and scratchy quality of the napkins made it slightly challenging to clean up any ice cream overflows effectively. For warm summer days when the ice cream tends to melt quickly, I recommend having a pack of wet wipes handy for convenience.

I got the copa chica and the cono chico (total of 4 flavors). Based on how they scoop it, I think you get more with the cup, but the cone was tasty with a good crunch and didn’t crumble when you ate it. However, I would get complementing flavors because they do get squished together when scooped.

The gelato was a stand out experience. The wafer was light and a nice touch. The gelato didn’t rely on being too sweet or rich to be good; all the flavors felt unique, thought out, and perfect. My fruity ones tasted bright and the chocolate kinds were well balanced.

We found Lucciano’s through a social media reel and came specifically to try the Dubai chocolate flavor. The interior immediately caught our attention—super fun and unique, with a cool space-themed design that makes the whole experience feel special.

The ice cream itself is tasty, with a wide variety of flavors and generous portions. Personally, I found it a bit too sweet and slightly overwhelming, but that may just be a matter of taste—I’ll definitely try a different flavor next time.

One downside: the restroom doesn’t have a lock, which was a bit uncomfortable, so someone had to stand guard by the door.
