Finding Vicky, her beautifully designed and handcrafted jewelry and the artistic old-Barcelona style shop is the best treasure of our trip. My husband wanted to buy me an anniversary gift from a local jewelry designer, but most shops we walked by were generic pieces made elsewhere and brought to Barcelona. As soon as we walked up to Vicky's shop, I knew this was different. Each piece was unique, striking and stunning. Within 5 minutes I already picked out a necklace and a pair of earrings (see last picture for the pieces! I put them on for dinner that night!) that were both so original, creative and beautiful. Born and raised in Barcelona, Vicky was so kind, generous and a beautiful soul. We became friends! Vicky's workshop is in the shop too, so you can have a glimpse of her work-in-progress, which is already gorgeous. What a magic she brings to this city. Vicky, I wanted to drop you a note to say a massive thank you for the care & attention you gave to Martin and I when we were in last week buying my birthday ring! I’m the lady who was the size 9. Meeting Vicky—a true artist and wonderful person—has been the highlight of our visit to Barcelona! She sources many of her materials from around the world and uses high quality leather, elastic, and metal in her work. We loved the vibe of the shop and how it’s also connected to her workspace.
