Wow, wow, wow — Sol de Beirut absolutely blew me away!
From the moment the paper-thin, warm pita landed on our table, I knew we were in for something special. The homemade hummus was silky smooth with just the right touch of garlic and citrus, while the lebne was luxuriously tangy and rich — the kind that makes you close your eyes with every bite.
But it didn’t stop there. The Caesar salad? Unexpectedly phenomenal. Crisp romaine, flavorful tomatoes and avocado, creamy dressing with a whisper of Middle Eastern flair, and crunch in all the right places. The fattoush was a total flavor bomb — bright, herbaceous, and perfectly dressed, with crispy pita adding just the right texture.
And then… the chicken. I’m not exaggerating when I say this might be the juiciest grilled chicken I’ve ever had. Charred on the outside, succulent on the inside, every bite packed flavor without being heavy.
The vibe at Sol de Beirut is warm and welcoming, like you’re being invited into someone’s home — but that someone just happens to be an absolute culinary genius. Service was fast, kind, and attentive without hovering.
If you’re craving Mediterranean soul food with standout freshness and flavor, this is the spot. I’ll be dreaming about that chicken and lebne combo...

Upon entering, I appreciated the inviting dining area—soft lighting, patterned tiles, and neatly set tables created a refined yet relaxed vibe. The bar area and open kitchen added a lively, welcoming touch.
I started with a trio of mezze: creamy hummus sprinkled with pomegranate, smoky baba ganoush topped with pistachios, and crisp falafel served with tahini—each bursting with authentic flavors. Next, I sampled the beef and lamb kofta: juicy, well-seasoned skewers served with saffron rice and grilled tomato. A side of warm pita bread was perfect for scooping every last bit.
The highlight was a tasting menu that included warak inab (vine leaves stuffed with rice and herbs)—delicate, tangy, and beautifully balanced. Paired with a refreshing Lebanese white wine, the blend of savory, nutty, and herbal notes left a lasting impression.

The food? Simply phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic Lebanese flavor — from the Fattosh & Mhamra to perfectly grilled meats and rich, comforting mains. The cherry meat platter was a highlight: juicy, seasoned to perfection, and beautifully presented.
One thing that truly surprised and moved me was finding Palestine Cola on the drinks menu. As a Palestinian, seeing it served with pride in such a beautiful space made me feel seen and deeply appreciated.
The restaurant itself is elegant and cozy, with a lovely view of the Royal Palace if you sit outside. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion.
