We are on our 3rd day here from the UK. We had eaten at a Michelin star place and some other upmarket places. We thought we would come here based on reviews and locality to where we were staying. When we got here we weren't sure if we should go in as it was relatively quiet and they have street works so you need to eat inside. (We envisioned eating outside). I only write this as we found it outstanding with amazing Spanish flavours. The prawns were extremely amazing and beyonce doubt, the subtle flavour of the mushroom croquetas tasted so fresh, it really is something. You also have to have the aubergine with honey...(Basically crisps with honey.... outstanding). Great local place and will be back. And to be clear, this is the best place we have eaten at so definitely the...

My goodness! What a value. This pleasant little establishment has a full menu, printed both in Spanish and English, as well as a Daily Special. Today's Daily Special consisted of 2 courses (five items to choose from for each course), a beverage (including beer and wine as a choice), and dessert for 11€.

The food was delicious and filling. A great value for my 11€.

For my first course, I chose Huevos rotos con chimicurras (2 fried eggs served atop a pile of steak fries, with chunks of small sausages). My second course was thin cut flat/skirt steak, grilled to tender perfection, with another pile of steak fries.

I had a beer for my beverage, and a delicious cheese cake for my dessert.

I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a reasonably priced, tasty, filling...

The food was not appealing, the service took a very long time. Appetizers came out at the same time as the mains (the hummus was good). The schnitzel was so stringy and chewy, the pasta had very little sauce, overall there was little to no flavour in all the dishes, everything needed to be salted excessively. We ordered the hummus, ham croquettes, blue cheese croquettes, schnitzel, peppermint vegetables and pumpkin ravioli. Ham croquettes and hummus were the only things we enjoyed. Our waiter was very nice, but would not suggest going...

After 3 hours queueing for Debod temple, we really need a rest. We ordered chicken lollipop and crispy chicken, and the qutity of crispy chicken shocked us. The tasty of food is straight and narrow, but the coffee is really good, especially the small side cake. 😀

Simple bar/restaurant were we stop to have a drink. As is usual in Spain you always get some complementary food with your drink. In this bar it was a very tasty pimiento relleno. Nice place to have a drink while you rest from your visit to Madrid.
