Alhambar — Restaurant in Geneva

Clearly a smart place for afterwork drinks. The spot is very stylish and lively (there was a DJ when we went).

However, the service and food were terrible. After having been offered a wide selection of wines, the waiter came to us saying that there was only one available. For our second round, they came with a second wine, which tasted really average (clearly not acceptable for a 10.- Fr. wine glass). Unfortunately, i didnt had a chance to say something as i was in the middle of a professional meeting. Last but not least, the snack that we ordered came in ridiculous portions and were fried in an old vegetable oil. Yak......

I went with some friends for brunch. There are NO gluten free, dairy free choices. It is unacceptable than in 2020 a restaurant does not provide in their menu alternatives (almost every other restaurant/bar in town has them). Moreover, since I could not eat the meals on the menu, I asked for a fruit salad. the kitchen accepted. I received a small bowl with 1 kiwi and another fruit finally chopped, and they charged me 13chf for it. Total rip off. It is a shame because the location is nice, the service is ok, it has a big potential but they should definitely review their menu and their prices. Good luck...

a millenium 5, probably more like a 4 in realy life, because food is closer to bar food than restaurant food. That said it is nicely done, burgers were very nice and table around took sharing dishes which were looking great too. I think food could be 15% cheaper and wine probably 30% (10CHF for a small glass of an average Rioja is too much compared to similar places in Geneva). Service was extremely nice and attentive to our every needs. Good ambiance, nice music. Definitely a good place to...
