We just had dinner at Goldener Anker and it was nothing short of outstanding! From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

Chef Patrick is truly exceptional – every dish was a work of art, perfectly balanced in flavor and beautifully presented. You can taste the passion and precision in his cooking, and it made the whole evening feel special.

Our waitress Nastassia was warm, attentive, and genuine. She made us feel welcome right away, guided us with great recommendations, and provided service that was both professional and heartfelt.

Service was good, food presentation looked nice. But unfortunately the food was not nice & didn't suit my taste. Giving benefit of the doubt, maybe we selected the wrong things from the menu. The rabbit pasta was too soggy and not al dente, and the rabbit meat was hard not soft. The Swiss roast pork had something sour on it, which made me wonder if the food was spoiled? The nicest item across all the dishes was the fries in the fish & chips. The fish tasted like a lot of flour/batter with very minimal fish (like fish flavoured batter). It kinda traumatized me from having Swiss food for awhile. My husband and I stopped here for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress (who I also think is the owner) was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met and she takes so much pride in the restaurant. We ordered the ostrich to share and asparagus with cheeses and potatoes as an appetizer. Both were so delicious! Also I highly recommend the ostrich! We are every last bite and it was filled with tons of flavor. Also our meal took a little longer than expected so we were given a complimentary drink each and a salad.
