The Talk Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

I've been staying in this hotel for the past 6 days and as always the staff in this restaurant are very kind and very approachable... today,someone surpasses my expectation..the definition of going on extra mile.. displaying kindness and concerns... I was doing an event here in JBR and sure lack of sleep and long hours of work took toll in my immune system.. i Got colds, after my Breakfast,i was in a hurry when Kaur greeted me .. and she noticed im not that well offered to make Ginger tea for me, but i said i need to go,i ask if she could put it in takeout cup,she said they dont normaly do that but she went and get it for me.. at first i was thinking it was flavored tea, ginger as she mentioned.. to my surprise, i arrived in the site, i checked my tea ,it was black tea, with fresh ginger,mint leaves and honey.. that is why it took her a bit of time,she went to the kitchen to get it for me.. she is amazing and i really did not expect that.. thank you so much Kaur, i feel much better after drinking the tea.. this gesture maybe small yet can make anyone extreme happy and grateful..kudos to the talk and all...

We visited “the talk” many times in the past. I must admit that place got much worse. many items comparing to variety and quality from past visits - were missing, trays were not refilled on time. only after complaint they started doing something. place has deteriorated allot just within this last year. Sushi? what sushi? just 2 types of it for a seafood night!! which are : some lousy cucumber pieces with rice and slim tiny slice of tuna with rice . thats it. salmon? what salmon?:)) Sand lobsters they used to have but not anymore, only after i complained they brought some.. looks like they try to hide it from customers so that to save money.. i dunno what looks weird . coz its called seafood! night.. many seafood canapés and salads which they had in the past were not there as well. Dessert options deteriorated as well in terms of quality! And by the way..tea or coffee not included in seafood buffet or any other buffet anymore.. Totally dissatisfied.. have to look for another place to eat...

Talk Restaurant....Top Service for great price!! Talk Restaurant's Friday Brunch at Movenpick Hotel JBR not only has great food, amazing service, but fantastic price. They have the Beyond Burger for my vegetarian friends and a great grill section. What is best is the price, most brunches are so expensive, but at The Talk, I did not hear my wallet scream when the bill came. AED199 with soft drinks and AED269 with alcoholic beverages. BUT having said all the good stuff about the food and price, what I really enjoyed was the service by the staff. Amazingly friendly and helpful. All extremely polite and oh so friendly. and to top it off, I left my reusable straw in my glass, and thought it was gone, but they saved it and contacted me so I could come and get it. Now THAT is service!! The Talk will be a place we shall go to over and over for...
