Absolutely terrible experience from these money hungry con artists! Please do not fall into their trap of lies and deceit. They stole my 50k deposit and are refusing to give it back. Everything is one big scam to take your money. From the solicitor they offer you to the company they recommend to resell. Everything is planned and manipulated and as a First Time Buyer like I was, they will simply chew you up and spit you out. They drastically overprice their properties and are not prepared to come lower. Having obtained my mortgage subject to valuation, the property was down valued by 60k. Ballymore refused to lower the asking price and were adamant that it was worth the price of 500k for a studio. It clearly wasn't as the valuation came back at 440k. This meant I could no longer afford the property and was not able to complete. All of this whilst a pandemic is happening. Ballymore care only about money and will do whatever necessary to keep it, even if that means ripping off First Time Buyers. Ballymore will take your deposit without even checking if you have a mortgage offer in place. If you value your money and investment then do not go into business with Ballymore. All I want is my 10% deposit back which I was told I would get back from Ballymore employee...

Build quality: ok but could be better.

Management report: 3 years lagging I heard.

Communications during completion: very poor. Everything through the solicitor they recommended that probably acted for them than for you.

Solicitor they recommended: expensive. My mortgage advisor told me after discounting the £2k incentive (£2k off the solicitor fee they said to make you put deposit), they are charging more expensive than the next most expensive solicitor on the market. I’ll post it for you to judge. Also I never once spoke to the solicitor over the phone. All over email. Ok I lied, I called them once cause they did not respond to my email after days. That was it.
