The Eleventh Hour — Restaurant in London

Stumbled upon this café by accident, while actually trying to find a different one. After a quick peep, I decided to give it a try. My go-to coffee is flat white which was acceptable but a far cry from the quality I'm used to and what you can get elsewhere in the area. It looked nice but the taste was bland, so if you're a coffee-lover like me (ok, a coffee snob, I admit), I'd give it a miss. I also grabbed a pastry - the pain-au-chocolat's attractive looks were deceiving as it was just short of stale, not in the least bit crunchy, as you'd hope for this price (~£3). At £6.90 for the whole experience, I didn't think it was worth it so won't be coming back. The venue itself is quite pleasant (though nothing special) and service was adequate. Off to find...

Simply the best coffee in town. Beautiful space and nice interior to spend a morning or afternoon. Terrific staff. Val and Paris are super friendly and they make THE BEST COFFEE. They use the best almond milk (Blue Diamond) in town - nutty, pure and absolutely divine (plus, no added oat to trick you!) The downside? You will think about getting g a coffee there ALL THE TIME. And this place simply makes other coffee places unbearable. Oh, and you’d visit this place too often, like twice a day.

You only know how much you love their coffee when travelling abroad for 10 days and sitting on the beach but you realise you are thinking about the coffee from The Eleventh Hour.

Step into The Eleventh Hour, nestled on the ground floor of the Wardian with subtle signage boasting the best banana bread.

The trendy and cozy interior provides a welcome escape from the chilly winds outside. While the coffee presentation impressed, the flavors fell slightly short of the anticipated independent coffee shop experience. The hot chocolate, with its dark chocolate undertones, was a standout delight.
