I really regret leaving a 2 star review. I was however left with no choice in the matter. M&S is truly a beloved staple food retailer in the UK. This particular one: nothing less but the highlight of Charing Cross Station. I must admit the prospect of a complete reno of the place I look forward to visit on a daily (business days) basis, left me palpitating with excitement. Read moreAs a severely disabled 83 yr old with balancing difficulties I was distressed to be told to move backwards through a narrow gap and round 2 corners to access the store by the large African race male Security guard who refused to move 2 metal posts which had been placed incorrectly in the access space intended for your customers by the entrance next to bread shelves as I have always had help in the past with my walker wheelchair that stops me falling.
Your other staff automatically offered help when I approached the tills seeing my physical problems

But this particular store is not only absolutely bare-bones compared to most other stores but also boringly generic in terms of the few items they actually do sell.
