Stay warm and shop at the Mall in Anchorage, great gifts are found at the 5th Avenue Mall Store in Anchorage. A convenient place to find everything. Wild berry is fresh chocolates, fudge and great mouth watering jellies. There is an assortment of candies displayed on the shelves and it's hard to decide what to purchase. I brought back wolf paw shaped chocolate pops for gifts and everyone at the dog park loved them. I also got Salmon jerky for gifts. The store was happy to help me decide on my gifts and very patient. I want to make it very clear this review is about the shop in the mall! I was so excited to come here and could have spent so much time looking at all the trinkets and chocolates and I would have probably spent way too much money but the girl behind the counter was so rude and acting like we were disturbing her. She just sat there on her phone and kept asking if we were done. Then eventually just told us she was closing in 7 minutes. I was so excited to try this place; however, the customer service was absolutely appalling. The girl behind the counter literally could not care less. Sat on her phone with headphones and almost seemed like she was on TikTok live or FaceTiming with someone. She avoided making eye contact as I stood up there clearly waiting to be helped, rolled her eyes as she got up, and acted like she couldn’t be bothered.
