Walking into Furniture Classics is like walking into a place I call home. I’ve known Colleen most my life, probably since I was a toddler. My parents were frequent clients of hers and well I just loved the connection of the place. Colleen has a great sense of style and crosses over to her clients. You may not know when you walk in what you’re looking for our style but she does pull it together for you to see the bigger picture. She’s not just any designer; touring your home or new construction has a great/detail for placement, not just furniture but walls/doors/utilities, etc. This knowledge brings her greatest advantage for remodels with her experience of over 40 years she has knowledge of folks in the trades . Her team; Katherine, who’s always available for questions/knowledge or which catalogue to pull, inventory in the store, and paperwork to attend to. Garnet hides behind the scenes but he’s working hard on displays, attending Colleen out to sites for staging furniture or even hanging a mirror or 2 if not more as he did for us. This is the only place for us, quality furniture that lasts, trends, traditional, and original pieces I can’t find anywhere. I went in to look at the classic furniture for my new place. They had unique pieces that I was interested in, but I was greeted bitterly by the lady behind the counter and was not approached for help. I noticed she blocked off the upstairs to the business while I was looking at the furniture on the ground floor. I asked if there was an upstairs and she said it was closed.
