I have been to this location many times and yes it is located in the heart of Disney Resort. This place is located right across the street from Disneyland. Today will be be my final visit to this location. It seems that management lacks leadership skills and they lack encouragement to socialize with their guest. If it was me i would talking it all up with the guest and making them feel welcomed and very important for visiting this establishment. Today was no different from other days. The cashier just sat there and waited for guest to order because yes the menu can be confusing. Never once did she look up to say hi I will be with you shortly or you are free to try our service yourself counter and place your order. We ordered and i noticed that the counter for orders are placed and ready to be served to guests tables had been piling. My thought that food is probably cold or soggy by now. Now i go to beverage bar pour me my drink. Proceed to walk to a table available and noticed there are about 10 tables not cleaned or wiped down. I had to ask someone to please clean our table, she does, but does lazy ok i guess I'll clean the other tables. Placed order at 213pm and finally food comes to us at 230. We can tell it had been sitting at the counter for a while because the soup had a thick film on top. My sandwich was warm and soggy and my Mac-n-cheese was a little cold. What disturbed me the most is I watch Brianna(some kind of manager) not take immediate action to have food delivered to guest instead she waited to see what associate was available to deliver food to table. Well she managed to deliver but was irked and annoyed that she had to do an associate's job. This has happened 4 times now that i have been there and i go in with an open mind to expect fairly good service but as always the same results. I do hope they find a good management team to run this location because Panera Bread has the best pastries...
Read moreCame to eat here back in June and was disappointed. Got hassled about adding blueberries to a smoothie, but the cashier reluctantly agreed to do it. Waited over ten minutes for my food, so I walked up to the food counter to pick up my own order and to ask for an extra side of dressing. Even though there was a manager right there, my food stood for a few more minutes. He checked my food and there were blueberries inside my sandwich when I requested them in my drink not my food! He offered to help me take my food to the table and I said I would go back to the food counter to get my dressing, but he offered to bring it to me so I could enjoy my meal. After watching him for a few minutes, he sent off more food and served other people and had forgotten about me completely. Again, I had to walk up to the counter to ask for my dressing. Not only had no one got it, the back of house seemed mean spirited about getting it for me at all. The manager apologized for having to wait and offered to give me a free pastry, which I did not care for. I was not looking for hand outs, I just wanted the good service Panera is usually known for. Read moreI ordered on-line for pick-up from this location just today. The first thing I noticed when i walked in, was the sour smell that permeated the whole restaurant. I had received an email almost 10 minutes prior stating that my order was ready and would be on the rapid pick-up shelf. It was not. I stopped one of the employees walking by to ask about my order. She was clearly annoyed at my question and told me to give my name at the kitchen window, which I did. The kitchen employee literally tossed my order onto the window counter. I checked the bag and saw that the bread that comes with the meal was missing and asked for it. She insisted that the bread was in the bag. When I repeated that it wasn't, she rudely gestured to give her back the bag. She inspected it, then grudgingly ripped off a piece of bread from the baguette, threw it in the bag and tossed it back on the counter. I paid $13.94 for for a Baja Bowl with Chicken. I admit that I asked to omit a couple of items, but the attached photo is what I received. There was barely any food in the bowl. Not worth nearly $14.
