Great way to spend a day! If your coming from PeachTree take a short MARTA journey or a easy ride share.
I had a nice walk, sunday brunch, visited some unique shops, galleries and attractions, all while strolling by many “foodie” options and breweries I could graze at. Mid day I stopped for a show at the Landmark, but you could just as well stock up for a picnic in the nearby parks (with skyline views) at the Trader Joe’s or delis along the way. Before you knew it it was sunset and the day was up. A great way to spend a unplanned carefree day outside, with lots of nature and public art, and people watching along the way! I love to see the mixed use development going on, especially catering to underserved populations. As previously mentioned it can be crowded, but moves along and generally this is due to big family’s walking five abreast, then all the bikes / scooters / skateboards trying to pass them in what’s left of the trail. I can’t wait to see the further development of this project and for it to make its way...
Read moreI walk the Eastside Beltline Trail daily, and it’s one of my favorite parts of Atlanta. It’s great for people watching, and I always feel safe while I’m out. One of my favorite features is the ever-changing art in the tunnel near the skate park—it’s always something new to discover.
The trail is lined with a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes, making it a great place to explore. Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market are the most notable spots along the trail for food and shopping. When I need to get somewhere quickly, I enjoy hopping on an electric scooter; it’s a fun way to travel down the Beltline! The Beltline makes it convenient to access all these places, and there are often concerts and events or festivals in Piedmont Park or Old Fourth Ward Park, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. I love how the Beltline connects different neighborhoods, offering a unique perspective of the city. It’s an integral part of Atlanta, and I’m lucky to live...

On a bright sunny Saturday, I, along with my wife, both senior citizens, had a leisurely walk on this section of the trail.. and what an experience it was... great atmosphere, positive vibes. It was a pleasure to see children, parents, grandparents, walking, talking, jogging, cycling...all happy faces.
There are plenty of eateries on this section of the beltline. We just wanted to have some soft drinks. However, long queues at the restaurants dissuaded us. I wish they had some small kiosks serving quickly, just cold drinks. This, however, has no impact on my rating.
Last visit in 2023 : Atlanta beltline is the lifeline of this city..... very well planned, executed,...
