5 Stars - A Perfect Birthday Experience!

My husband and I did the Atlanta Beltline Cocktails and Bites Experience yesterday to celebrate his birthday, and we had an incredible time! It ended up being a private tour with just the two of us, and our guide, Shauna, made the experience extra special.

Shauna was amazing—warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about Atlanta’s history, the local food scene, and of course, cocktails. She’s worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and clearly knows her stuff. We started at Burles Bar above The Victorian plant shop (such a cool, hidden gem!), then made our way to La Metro at Ponce City Market, and wrapped up with a final drink on the rooftop of the iconic Clermont Lounge.

Shauna was right on time at 5 p.m. and had us wrapped up by 7:15, which was perfect for making our dinner reservation nearby. One of the best parts was how effortless everything felt—Shauna had all the drinks and bites pre-arranged, so we could just show up, relax, and enjoy. No decisions, no paying at each stop—it was all taken care of in advance.

We really appreciated how she balanced sharing interesting info with giving us time to chat and soak in each spot together. Highly recommend this for a fun date night or a unique way to celebrate something special....

Hands down the BEST little plant shop around! Until a couple of years ago, I couldn't seem to keep a plant alive for the life of me. But the Victorian has turned me into a green goddess :) The selection is always excellent and every plant that I have purchased from them has been beautiful, lush & has thrived! Even more importantly, the customer service has always been awesome and I think this has really contributed to the longevity of all of my plants that I have purchased from them. I have messaged the store on IG and they have always provided helpful and prompt advice for my little green babies (even during height of the pandemic).

I have purchased several plants for myself, but they also have the coolest & unique handmade planters to gift! Even more to my excitement, they have added the most adorable stand alone location in EAV (with Bellwood Coffee). The wonderful vibes, healthy plants and knowledgable staff have made this little gem one of my favorite locally owned boutiques in the city! Go to The Victorian. Don’t even hesitate.

I’ve been coming here for a while now- almost two years- and I’ve always felt immense amount of serotonin when walking in. The shop is great within itself, always stocked with a gorgeous selection of plants, smells amazing, and is just aesthetically pleasing but this review is more about the team. I’ve always really liked anyone who’s ever had the opportunity to work here. They hire such openly kind people it seems and I never come in with the thought of “Oh, I hope this is that person is/isn’t here” because I’m excited to meet and talk to any of them. Brandon is always so enthusiastically helpful, Jordan is always there for the best advice and to calm my plant-buying-obsession nerves, and today I had the pleasure of actually interacting with Libby. I will not disclose as to what she helped me with as I’m a bit embarrassed for myself and my plant child but what I will say is that she’s very kind, generous, and I’m excited that their store is expanding again.
