I was the recipient of a Gresham flowers delivery for a milestone birthday. Gresham delivered the flower arrangement of which, some of the flowers were on the brink of full maturity with brown edges. The sender asked whether I liked the flower arrangement and for photos. To both the sender's dismay and myself, the delivered flower arrangement looked nothing like the photo. The sender was disappointed and contacted Gresham Florist to discuss a possible resolution. He texted photos of the arrangement to Lela, she responded to his text with her own photos and advised him that the arrangement was "fine" in her opinion. Subsequently, she hung up on him. Please keep in mind, he paid $400 for this arrangement, which is not the going rate for any such arrangement and far too costly for anything other than exceptional product and service.
I contacted Lela to request recompense for the floral arrangement, at minimum a redelivery. At the onset of the call, Lela's tone was that she could replace the arrangement and that she offered that to the sender (which was not true). However, as I explained that the arrangement did not mirror the photo and that some of the flowers were dying, per them being at full maturity. Lela stated "possibly one or two flowers were dead, but not the full arrangement and WE made 50 deliveries yesterday". I humbly stated that one or two dead flowers in a $400 floral arrangement is unacceptable. I should have a received a replica of the floral arrangement in the photo and the customer should not be punished for the demand of service and delivery on Gresham Flowers as a business.
Lela, at that point was livid, talking over me and not acknowledging this issue at hand, which is a poor quality of product and delivery of service. I then stated that we were providing Gresham Flowers with the opportunity to make the situation whole before contacting the credit card company to reverse charges. Lela advised that WE should contact the credit card company and hung up on me.
This dynamic is multi-layered and should be remembered as the following,
Poor quality of product Poor quality of service delivery (Quality Assurance) Below poor in customer service (the worst experience I've had in my life)
In addition, I question why the owner maintained her own photos of this flower arrangement. Could it be that she questioned the quality herself? Also, I am for certain that she would not allow this poor quality of product, delivery and customer service to be represented in the Buckhead area. Is this reminiscent of soci-economic or even racial bias, based upon where the floral arrangement was being delivered to? Collectively, we are in the midst of a pandemic that has been difficult on humanity as a whole. For those businesses fortunate enough to still have viable business, it is imperative that your products and services meet a baseline of quality. Please note that I did not say "exceed", but rather meet. Things happen and sometimes life is not perfect, but ownership of failures and willingness to correct failures is vital in business and life!
I WOULD NOT recommend Gresham Flowers to anyone!!!!!
1/29/21: It is most despicable that the owner of this business refuses to take ownership for the failures mentioned above. To that point, go so far as to slander and defame a paying customer.
This was our first order from this business. Certainly, we would not be repeat customers with such a degrading experience.
Our credit card was never declined for fraud. This is a defamation and negative reference of both of our characters. We both function professionally and now will take this a step further by filing a small claim in court to defend our reputations and integrity. Most importantly, to ensure that no one else has to endure such a horrible experience and be vilified after being a paying customer.
We will be sure to provide outcome of the small claim here in the...
Read moreFor my daughter's birthday, I ordered the large bright colorful arrangement pictured below. My daughter received the second arrangement pictured below. I was disappointed with both the looks of the arrangement compared to what I ordered and the quality of the flowers. I was told it was a type of bicolor rose so I sent them the close up of the roses pictured below. The roses were brown and wilting.
I am not complaining that they originally delivered the wrong arrangement, went back to my daughter's apartment, took away the flowers and returned almost 2 hours later with what was supposed to be the arrangement I ordered. They offered Godiva chocolates for the delivery error which would have been a satisfactory resolution to the delivery problems but as can be seen in the photos, the $143 arrangement she received was not acceptable. Hugely disappointing experience with what I thought was a reputable florist.
UPDATE after owner response: As I said before, the chocolates were offered as a reasonable remedy for the botched delivery. I am not complaining about that. When my daughter finally received her arrangement, we were shocked by the quality of the roses AND that the arrangement looked nothing like the colorful arrangement pictured on their website. The response was take the flowers away for a refund or receive the chocolates already promised. It was a terrible...
Read moreFlowers were very nice, but I can't help but rate 2 stars because of 1) the service and 2) the delay in delivery. I ordered an arrangement yesterday around noon and was told it would be delivered the same day (which is the primary reason I placed the order in the first place). I called around 2 PM to check on the status, to which the lady responded, "I'm not seeing it in our system." I provided her with the order number as she said she would call right back. Fast forward a couple hours... still no call back. So I call her again. She says "Yes, sorry. The billing address was incorrect." So I provide her with the correct one, and she says that she doesn't have an ETA on delivery, but that it would be delivered sometime in the afternoon. I asked AGAIN to confirm that it will definitely be delivered that day, and she said it would be. I tried calling back around 5 o'clock since I was skeptical, and no one answered the phone, although they are allegedly open until 6 PM. Surely enough, there was a reason for my skepticism -- it was not delivered until around 3 PM today. I was extremely disappointed with your service, overpromises, and lack of communication. Do not advertise and then verbally confirm same-day delivery if it's untrue. Will be very reluctant to ever order from...
