Laura Powers created and delivered the most magnificent ring that I could have imagined within the limitations of my budget. While my budget wasn’t necessarily shabby, what I was requesting would have definitely cost me a lot more had I gone elsewhere. On top of that, I would not have been able to get exactly what I wanted. I knew that I wanted something that was different than the usual diamond center stone. Laura did an excellent job of talking through my options and figuring out based on images I showed her and what I described, which direction we should take. It was clear to me from the beginning that she knew her stuff. On top of that, I never felt any pressure – it was all about honoring my timing and budget.

We landed on a yellow sapphire center stone with a diamond halo. Laura was amazing in not only sourcing the most beautiful stones, but in finding them quickly and for a very good price. When I decided mid-process that the original design needed a little more “oomph”, Laura was completely cool with it and happily incorporated my new suggestions. Furthermore, she sourced side diamonds of very good quality and still stayed within my budget. Because it was around the holiday time and we changed the design along the way, the timeline pushed a little so I was not able to get my ring within the original timing although she tried everything within her power. However, seeing as there were no pressing time constraints, I was okay with the shift because at the end what I received was exactly what I wanted and more. As a 24 old at the time, I had just started browsing engagement rings as my girlfriend and I had been together for over 3 years. After going to a couple of other local jewelers in Atlanta first, I didn't feel too confident in any of them yet as I was looking for a jeweler that could not only put together a great product, but also pair that with some basic diamond education and excellent customer service.
