I work at Lenox Mall and try to hop on the Red Line, and get on the 9:02 PM train, but no matter what time I reach, be it 9:00 PM or 9:05 PM, it is never there at 9:02 PM, it is completely based on the mood of the employee. One day there was a random Red line train at 9:06 PM, next weekday despite the same schedule it wasnât there. Tonight, I ran all the way from the mall to avoid the colder weather, but no, I am here since 9:00 PM, there is no 9:02 PM train yet. This has happened almost every day since I started working at the mall. Thanks to your precise âapproximateâ timings, I miss the 9:15 PM bus (No. 87 NB) from Dunwoody every night and chill at the Dunwoody station from 9:25 PM to 9:55 PM.    Read moreBuckhead Transit Station is one of the cleaner and more organized MARTA stations in Atlanta. The location is convenient, right in the middle of Buckheadâs busy business and shopping area, with easy access to malls, offices, and restaurants nearby. The platforms are spacious and well-lit, and escalators and elevators usually work, which makes commuting smoother.
It can get crowded during rush hours, but trains run on time and itâs a reliable connection to Midtown and Downtown. Safety feels decent compared to some other stations, though like anywhere in the city, staying aware is important.
Overall, itâs a practical and well-maintained station that makes getting around Buckhead and the rest of Atlanta...
Read moreOne of the nicest MARTA stations in our city. I take MARTA every day to and from work and get on/off at the Buckhead stop. The station is very clean and features two exits on opposite sides that provide easy access to everywhere in Buckhead. Vending machines for snacks and drinks that take card and apple pay. Very safe environment with constant MARTA security presence. Trains are very rarely delayed and can be expected every 10 mins during the weekdays. Download the MARTA app! $2.50 fare one way, $5.00 round trip but I use the monthly unlimited pass for $95.00. If more people would get over their misplaced stereotypical view of public transport and actually gave MARTA a chance our traffic would...
