Have you ever heard a gunshot in a parking deck? Where do I start. Please be aware that CPS the parking company that attend the lot is into questionable tactics. I will not be going to this establishment ever again and here is why. We were never serviced upon sitting... ever. Went to the bar and they were only serving the regulars . It took my husband probably 20 mins to get 4 drinks. The karaoke is amazing. The hostess with the locs was personable but the service was terrible. Despite the service issue and not eating anything we ended up being very entertained with karaoke. Upon leaving this establishment we were targeted in an illegal parking scam that is considered legal because it happens on private . Have you ever heard a gunshot in a parking deck? Last night my husband and I went to Buckhead pizza. Upon entering the parking garage we noticed no signs regarding the need to pay but we saw at least a dozen cars on the first level with boots. I asked a friend how the parking worked and he pointed to a small sign on a random column where it says you must pay at a machine. The machine gives you the option of hourly parking at $3 an hour we chose buckhead pizza as our destination entered our spot number selected 2 hours worth of parking and git our ticket and put it in the windshield. This was 10:54pm. At about 12:15 when it seemed like we may be there a little longer my husband decided to go pay for another hour and low and behold we had a boot on the car. He called CPS parking and they said the time expiration on the ticket says 11;59pm which is not two hours of parking which my husband explained to the agent that obviously the machine was broke in regards to the time but the receipt clearly shows we paid for two hours. Naturally he did not care. When the two attendants came we were calm and simply explained the issue and they also did not care. When this happens ed we felt like we were being scammed so we called the cops. The attendants said we can call anyone we want but they were not taking the boot off until we paid them 75.00 Another group of men entered the lot who were also booted, when they saw the boot they became angered and insisted that the attendants remove the boot which they refused to do. Once they refused one of the men pulled out a Gun and let off a shot in the parking deck, the attendants promptly removed the boot, the individuals entered their vehicle and drove off and we were left there in our car very startled Once we were sure they left we asked the guys again to please remove the boot as this was all obviously a mistake with the machine. The guy in the passenger seat replied they will not remove the boot. I asked him why he removed the boot for the illegally Parked car but refuses for us and he replied that they paid them which they didn't, they just scared them and he advised us just so we know they have three guns in the car. Now why would you say this to someone who is so visibly shaken by an illegal firing of a gun in a close space?? We called the cops again to report the shooting incidence and she finally came almost 2 hours after our first call. She advised us that although she could see we did in fact pay for 2 hours of parking and the time printed for expiration does not coordinate with what we paid for this is a civil issue and she had no authority to force them to remove the boot. We had no choice but to pay this fee. Since last night I have been emotionally drained, this experience was one of the worst experiences in my life. I truly felt threatened even though the attendant only eluded to the facts that he had guns because he wanted to scare us more and did not actually say he would shoot us, we all know what his intentions were. This is a sad predatory practice. Had I not paid for parking I understand a boot, had I paid to park there but when somewhere else I understand the boot. But when you pay for a service and then you are not provided that service and threatened in process. I don't...
Read moreTruly one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We went there on July 3rd, the night before the Peachtree Road Race. Obviously, the night before a holiday and large event, we knew it would be busy and were perfectly fine with having to wait, etc.
We arrived, and were told by the hostess the wait would be 25 minutes. No problem at all, we sat on the bench in front of the hostess and just hung out. While sitting there, the hostess would disappear for long periods of time, to the point where a large amount of people would come in and stand at the hostess desk, and then give up and walk out because no one was there. Keep in mind, throughout us waiting, and the line continuing to build up at the door (those who didn't walk away because no one was there), there were at least 5 open tables that were set and just empty.
We finally got taken to a table (again we had no problem waiting if they were busy, but they were not and had empty tables all over) and she took our order. I ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs and my wife ordered a Gyro. A few minutes after we sat down, a family got seated at the table over from us. No waitress ever came over to take an order, after over 10 minutes of just sitting there without being acknowledged by anyone who worked there they gave up, got up and walked out. While we sat there, more people would come in and the hostess would be MIA for a long time and they'd just give up and leave. I can't even guess how much business they lost out on that night.
The service was god awful. After placing our initial order with the waitress, she never came back once until she brought the check. We waited, and waited, and waited some more. 1 hour and 3 minutes later we got our food. In that 1 hour and 3 minutes the waitress never came back, our drinks sat empty the entire time. Throughout the wait, as people would finish eating and leave, the tables would just sit empty, as the lines grew and people were even waiting on the sidewalks. Towards the end of our meal, easily 75% of the place was empty but the lines were still out the door. Truly terrible service, I have never seen anything like it. There was a couple next to us (who replaced the family who walked out) that ordered a pizza. When they were brought the pizza, both plates they were given were dirty and they had to ask for new plates.
I have never seen a place lose so much business by simple laziness, they could have made a killing with the amount of people in town for the race.
I'm sure the owner will comment back on this, with a smart response to deflect the negative review like he has done to others. I guess if you can't provide even decent service, instead of acknowledging it and trying to fix it, just be smart a$$ back to...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Buckhead Pizza for over three years, visiting weekly and spending well over $1,000. My go-to order has always been the same: hot honey wings and an espresso martini.
During my recent visit, I placed the usual takeout order. However, I received buffalo wings instead of hot honey. I informed the bartender, who acknowledged the mistake and said she’d have the kitchen correct it. Unfortunately, when I got home and tasted the food, it was clear the wings were not properly remade instead, buffalo wings had simply been covered in hot honey sauce. The result was a completely off flavor and very disappointing.
I returned to the restaurant to express my concerns. I explained to the owner, Sam, that I’d been coming there consistently and expected the same quality. Rather than acknowledge the mistake, he argued with me over what I had ordered, despite me clearly explaining the issue. I mentioned that it was lazy for an employee to throw sauce on the wrong wings instead of remaking the dish correctly. That comment sparked an unnecessary argument, even though the bartender later admitted that’s exactly what happened.
Eventually, I received a refund, but the entire situation left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and figuratively. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service from a place I’ve supported for years is unacceptable.
Sadly, I won’t be returning. Consistency and customer respect matter and on this day, both...
