I keep trying to give this place a shot at my business but they constantly keep letting me down inside and outside (to-go). My most recent experience was with ordering a to go meal with my co-workers, the order was placed at 1130 for a 1230 pick up time. I ordered a pizza (which was cold), one of my co-workers ordered a salad without tomatoes (which on the online order form she checked NO TOMATOES on it as I watched her order from my computer, and the other ordered chicken alfredo (which had hardly no sauce which in turn made the chicken really dry and it too was cold.) The management sent my co-worker a message to say that she asked for more tomatoes on her salad when the online platform ONLY gives you the option to say NO to items that come on the salad hence her checking NO for tomatoes. Overall this experience was just as bad as when we received terrible service from server inside of the establishment. For a Buckhead restaurant this place leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend this spot for lunch at all.
Here is yet another example of why you should not order or eat at Industry Tavern as the owner blames me for my order placed on his platform instead just receiving that his platform is flawed and deciding to work on that instead of trying to get me help in using it. (P.S. - I work in IT and your host site for your online platform is flawed sir!)
Response from the owner 22 hours ago Hi Julius, thank you for taking the time to review. We hate that you trouble with our online ordering platform, I was able to review your order and saw that some of the options you needed were not selected. We can always assist you with online ordering or you can place the order over the phone by giving us a call. As for the cold food, please reach out to us directly - we always want to provide the best hot food and can make sure we get replacements to you. -...
Read moreI really enjoyed the atmosphere here! BUT, it's LOUD! If I'd been with anyone other than my mother, I would have ignored the noise, and nearly rejoiced in it. But I did have to check with with my mom before we were seated, because I knew she would have an issue. She said she didn't, and my sister wanted to eat here also, but Mom AND Sis were both making faces by the time we left.
Now that I've gotten the negative out of the way, I can focus on all the goodness. First, they offer a discount with a Yelp check-in... 10%! AND, they have drink specials! On this Thursday, Samuel Adam's Summer Blend was $4... that is amazing anywhere, ESPECIALLY Buckhead. I'm pretty sure I only had 2, but it had been a long day on my ankle. My sister had some sort of specific rum cocktail that was more expensive... $13.50 for two, I think. Or maybe each - I'm sorry I don't remember - just seemed pricey to me. The three of us each paid cash for our meals, although we asked for one check so we could all benefit from my Yelp discount, which our server was agreeable to do. Of course, because she was so accommodating, and very good otherwise, we tipped generously on the original table total. I definitely thought I got a great value for the food quality & service.
Next, the food. We decided to share the Lobster Nachos (full-size, which was way too big for the 3 of us), and we ordered Tater Tots and Mac & Cheese as sides to share. I'd never heard of lobster nachos previously, and another Yelp review about them caught my eye, so we gave them a try. And I'm SO GLAD we did! Wow! They were amazing! The Mac & Cheese was also very good... I think it was baked - delish. The Tater Tots were perfect as well. Overall, an excellent meal!
Our server told us they open the warehouse-style doors when then weather is nice, plus they offer drink specials...
Read moreWent there for dinner on a Monday night on a whim, since the place isn't too far from where we live. The place wasn't too crowded.
Location & Ambience - This place is located at the corner of Piedmont and Peachtree, behind the Hyatt. The ambience is very relaxed and casual, with only indoor seating.
Food Menu - Mainly consists of appetizers, salads, burgers, plus some entrees as well as pizzas.
The Meatball parmesan sliders are absolutely to die for, speaking from a previous experience
Alcohol - Pretty good selection of beers (draft, bottles, ales, lagers), whiskeys and the usual cocktails. They have a good collection of draft beers as well, some from local breweries around the Atlanta area
Price - All the items, including food and alcohol are decently priced.
Our experience
Alcohol - We ordered a local IPA and a Moscow Mule (with Gin). The cocktail was good
Appetizers - We didn't order any appetizers
Mains - We ordered the Sriracha Shrimp salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. The pizza was absolutely good, probably one of the best while the salad was decent too, although the dressing was bland
Desserts - We didn't order any desserts
Overall experience - The food was more than decent and the service, because it was a quiet Monday, was pretty quick as well.
This was not our first visit here. Our experience has been consistently good so far, and we will definitely recommend this place for the food as well as the atmosphere
P.S - They have a 'Dirty South Trivia' contest on Wednesdays, where you get the opportunity to win coupons up to $50, which can be used there for future visits (We did win a coupon on one of our...
