VYVID HOMES — Local services in Atlanta

Nice space, good location, well appointed. Had a rocky start with the contact guy and the room wasn’t ready. It’s far from perfect but it is quiet and clean and the location is prime. Better instructions for the place would be great. Smart locks are cool but have been inconsistent (they don’t always connect to the app. It was a rough start and Vyvid needs to contact me re: the way things went and what we found here.

I mean, they did send someone down with a coffee maker because the unit didn’t have one (we appreciated that), and they took the laundry out of the dryer for us (not our laundry). The garbage cans were filled with trash from the previous tenant (food garbage at that, it was ripe) and their toiletries were hanging from the closet door knob in the bathroom. They also left a bunch of stuff in the fridge and freezer so we let them know about that and they said they were samples for the coffee and wine bar they were opening upstairs and to help ourselves. We did not have any of the samples.

Then we left for dinner and the next thing we know the guy that manages the place is sending us pictures of our stuff FROM INSIDE THE UNIT. They actually entered the unit when we weren’t there! I did not appreciate that. Really, they should get a hold of us and explain themselves. That was ridiculous. And they promised to do so and never have.

So yeah. Don’t rent from these people. They do not follow through, their service was terrible, the unit was not ready, and they communicated poorly. There are many other AirBnB’s out there. There’s no need to waste your time with...

Vyvid Homes is a racist rental company. I took a day trip to ATL for work. I had to repeatedly call to get the access code. The main door that was supposed to be “locked” remained open for anyone to come into the building. Upon arrival Vyvid sent 4 threatening text messages stating they would cancel my Airbnb if they noticed a party going on) prior to booking I stated this would be for book and after arriving I informed them again. I called to see what was the purpose of the threatening texts and was told previous guests(NOT I) had a party on the property. I also ran into two white couples and asked if they received the same messages that I did. They were shocked(after I let them read both) and stated they didn’t receive the same messages (only ones that stated to enjoy their stay). I actually showed up to the Airbnb 30 mins early and was sent a picture of myself entering the Airbnb asking did I know who that person was(I didn’t reply). Another messages was sent demanding that I pay additional $25 for coming earlier than expected. I will sleep outside before I ever stay at ANY Vyvid home rental! (Black people...

I have booked 3 of the Vyvid Homes properties. These properties are a treat for myself. I am in love with the design of the homes. It is very relaxing and beautiful. The view of the city is something I would never get tired of. In addition, the property is very clean. It is such a treat to stay at one of these homes. The pictures do no justice to the properties themselves as they leave you speechless when you walk in. There aren't words that could do justice to the property. It would be a dream to be able to live in one of these homes. The owner has done such a great job with the design and overall layout of the property. I would recommend any and all of the Vyvid Homes properties to anybody wanting a beautiful, modern, relaxing place to stay in Atlanta! In addition, the host is very responsive and attentive.
