Tony's Package Store — Local services in Atlanta

My husband and I stayed at a nearby hotel and wanted to buy some alcohol for the room, within walking distance. For downtown Atlanta we were surprised that this was the only one of two liquor stores around. Being it was the only option I couldn't believe how SMALL the selection was. They literally had the basics and at VERY expensive prices. I guess they can only put so much in such a small space, but they could at least have fair prices. Instead, they know they're one of two available, so if someone wants it bad enough then they will pay it. (Which we did) Downtown Atlanta isn't very convenient to hop in the car, especially when we paid to have our car parked for the weekend...

Store looks shady and run-down, and this is one book you should judge by its cover. This guy's business model is exploitative, and he tried to sell a small thing of Jagermeister for 39.99. Its actual value is less than half that. There's another one right down the block that doesn't look like a dungeon has...

Found this spot to be friendly while in town on business, the clerk and i chitchated over the 2 weeks, sharing lifes experiences, very nice guy. I am sure there are cheaper places outside downtown but convenience was key. Also highly suggest Tony's over the place nearby, stroll through both & you...
