My wife and I have a particular interest in 18th and 19th century antique French and Italian furniture. We have purchased a few choices pieces from William Word antiques over the last ten years and have always been impressed with the quality, restoration and customer service. At this point we have purchased Armoires and Dressers as well as some smaller decorative items.

The store is a family owned business mostly run by William Word’s two daughters who provide exceptional knowledge and service for the type of purchase being made. Buying real antique furniture can be both daunting and nerve racking. When my wife and I first started down this road we were truly intimidated but at the same time we were determined. The Words are extremely patient and in no way make you feel pressured to purchase any of their furniture. In some ways you feel your in a museum than in a store and they always take their time educating you; which is just cool. This is what gives us the piece of mind in knowing that we are buying the right piece of furniture for our home from the right people. You are not just purchasing a functional item for the house but an investment and piece of art that will both keeps its value over the years and provide your home a new family member.
