A Frustrating Experience from Start to Finish
Walking into this store felt more like preparing for a natural disaster than shopping at a newly remodeled location. Shelves were bare, merchandise looked damaged, and the layout was oddly sparse—wide aisles with little to fill them. It was immediately clear that something was off.
Despite the crowd, only two cashiers were open, forcing over 30 customers into a single, slow-moving line. One of the few employees visible kept apologizing rather than taking action, and I watched four people behind me walk out in frustration.
Given the investment made after acquiring Winn-Dixie and the effort spent on renovations, I expected a competent launch team and a well-stocked store. Instead, it felt like either they underestimated demand and underprepared—or worse, they simply opened the doors and hoped for the best.

Staff duty 10/31/2025
I’m really disappointed with the customer service at this Aldi location. The staff here clearly need major training on how to treat customers with respect and basic professionalism. The customer service rep I dealt with had a terrible attitude sulking, sighing, rolling their eyes, and even complaining while trying to “help” me with my purchase. It felt like I was bothering them just by shopping there.
The whole experience was frustrating from start to finish, and honestly, it left a bad impression. Winn-Dixie’s customer service was miles ahead it was friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist without attitude. Aldi used to be one of my first stops for groceries, but not anymore. The poor service and lack of courtesy here make it hard to want to come back.
A disappointing visit all around definitely not the customer experience...
Read moreI don’t understand others giving 1 star to this supermarket. What can you expect from greatly reduced prices on all products?? If you want service or ask questions on products, you shop in Whole Foods or Publix and pay much more. But Aldi’s concept is cost minded store where they even thought of shopping carts to be 25c so they save on labour. The newly opened store is clean, priced slightly higher than other Aldi’s, cost of higher rent in prime locations, which is understandable. Plenty of parking, and unheard of having low cost supermarket in affluent aventura. I think ppl should appreciate more and stop giving 1 star reviews for patty complaints such as bringing dog and being kicked out. Well I don’t want pets or their fur, feces on my food so absolutely right that no pets should be allowed! those with pets, leave your pet home when you shop for food and stop...
