Power Smoothie Aventura — Restaurant in Aventura

*Buyer beware Literally go anywhere else is better and more clean and safer!!. Many other reviews say the same thing, the food and smoothies gave them food poisoning. When you are paying this much for a smoothie, the fruits should be fresh and prepared safely. I also got sick from their power smoothie gave me FOOD POISONING. I simply wanted to communicate with the owner, and he not only called me a liar he insulted me and called me names. I use to buy from this store before they even moved locations in the same plaza, the service and food used to be great. I love supporting good places, the plaza has other great restaurants. No one should be called names or treated rudely, take an anger management class, I have seen the OWNER yell with a child, take course on how to better your business skills instead of insulting people and causing people to get sick with your carelessness. Grow up, and learn how to treat your customer its a reflection on your poor self control, its a terrible reflection on how you would treat your own employee, its very evident with terrible product. Be better, treat others with respect start with yourself.

Absolutely horrible. I can’t believe I was even for a second considering this to be a quaint and healthy mom and pop smoothie shop. I’m a longtime client and I’ve watched this place rot from the inside from what was once the previously mentioned description. To start off, the staff is plain rude and overworked. I can see the loss of life in their eyes each time a customer comes in. this isn’t what employment should be. The quality of the food has also plummeted. I would come in several times a week and the more I came the more I realized that the smoothies began to taste like pure sugar. I doubted they even treat fruit in there. I started ordering here a month ago through DoorDash. I now order at least 1x to 3x a week. I’m working remote and have to order lunch last minute. They’ve always accepted and prepared the order quickly and correctly. I get a Mexican Chicken Rice bowl and Tropical High smoothie with Energy, every time. I have gotten the same thing because it’s so tasty - my mouth waters when I’m opening my to go container cause I know it’s gonna be good! I usually can get two meals out of it which I love cause it makes the price really great. Occasionally, I can’t help myself but eat it all! The smoothies are SO delicious and always put a pep in my step. I look forward to going in person one of these days, but for now I just keep hitting...
