If I could give zero stars I would!!! Slumlord at its finest!!! I live at Country club west apartments managed by peak properties and every time we’ve had a major issue it’s never been solved. It was temporary ban dated until we just got tired of dealing with it. The apartment manager here is so worthless. She would rather just sit on her butt in her office and yell at even residence for interfering with her “time” that she does not do her job. I just had to call the fire department tonight because there was almost an electrical fire caused by my dryer, which was supposedly fixed two days prior to this incident. I am not use this dryer at all since they supposedly fixed it. If I would’ve ignored my children telling me they smelled burning and went to bed like planned my children and I could’ve died. We could’ve been burned to death in this apartment and they don’t care they have unlicensed people fix problems that they should not be doing. They will not replace faulty equipment because it’ll take away from the managers bonus paycheck of the year, she would rather pocket the money and treat her residence like trash, then do a good job and the management above the property manager for this apartment complex has her back because they don’t care they would rather protect each other than make sure the residents are actually happy and safe, especially if you have kids I would never rent from these people. They will never fix any issues. All they do is cause harm and they don’t care. They are the definition of slumlords. I have lived here for several years unfortunately because rent is too expensive to move. And they have never once fixed any issues. We couldn’t even use our patio for two years because it was deemed unsafe and we received no break in our rent either. This place has been nothing but safety issue after safety issue and they refuse to do anything about it. I’ve been on the phone several times with the main property management people, and all they have are excuses no solutions they blame us and they just refuse to do their jobs for the safety of anyone reading this I highly suggest you never rent from...
Read moreWe visited the cabin in Fairplay.
The management company was quick to respond and very helpful. I have fragrance sensitivities and asked if they could remove air fresheners before we got there, which they did. I was so grateful that property was not overly fragrant. We also left something there, and they were so helpful as to send it to us! I was very thankful for their willingness to do that. Also, one of our children accidentally broke something and they were very gracious in handling that. Check out procedures were easy as well.
The remainder of this post will be specifically about the cabin itself. It was light, bright, open and very comfortable! Very private with beautiful views. We loved the deck. It was well stocked. There was anything you'd need in the kitchen and more than enough linens for our large group. The home is set up beautifully for toddlers and babies and our grandson loved the toys and books! The mattresses were on the firm side, but really nice. The internet was better than expected so far in the mountains. Our college kids were able to do their classes remotely with virtually no issues. Some things to keep in mind: Google maps doesn't take you to quite the right spot. Once you are on the right road, keep going and watch for the post with the address on it. The last part of the drive is a dirt road which is not very well maintained. The dining table isn't very large, though the property comfortably sleeps 12. We realized this beforehand and brought up a folding table, so no problem! The bunk beds have a weight limit for being on the top bunk and seem a little bit shorter than a normal twin bed. We just put our older kids on the bottom bunks and had no issues with this! This property is on a well and the water has minerals in it. We have well water at our home, so this didn't bother us. Heating the property was a bit challenging. The mainfloor would get really warm while the basement would still be chilly. They do has space heaters in each room downstairs, though. All in all, we loved our stay and would...
Read moreIf I can leave a negative star review I would. We used this company through Airbnb and I can’t express how horrible the experience was. We proactively messaged many homes in the area with the knowledge of having 14 people in total for rehearsal and our elopement dinner. We got approved before booking as we had planned and had 6 months of communication prior to. Upon the first night with only 12 guest in the home which is the limit, we were contacted separately on our personal phones by Jeff the manager of this company from watching cameras. He threatened us and our family and wanted to come to the property to “handle things his way”. I have never felt more unsafe and uncomfortable and sad before our small elopement in the mountains. We would have never booked without prior consent to this as we did have. Let alone being threatened by Jeff. I will blast this all over every review page I can so no one else can experience this. Pictured below is confirmation on our end prior to booking. This company put the worst taste in our families mouth for our elopement weekend with again 14 people when the count is 12 for the home WITH PRIOR CONSENT. Let alone we had only 8 guest sleep in the home with the rest of our families in hotels. If you want a horrible experience or to be threatened then go ahead and book with Jeff. If not I would run...
