I went in for the first time, drove by for a while but just didn’t stop, so I finally did, met an older man I believe was the owner he was very nice, just got a menu and left after a while talking smoking ribs techniques, wanted to try after he confirmed there pork ribs were smoked style cooked dry rubbed seasoned, returned and purchased two rib plates and requested side of extra ribs, well I have nothing bad to say about this gentleman I met but the ribs were not truly smoked looked like they were grilled or baked then put in a smoker just to get the look no flavor, were not trimmed, membranes were not removed from the back, the potato salad was so soupy I couldn’t see the potatoes and the potatoes were hard! That’s what I get for taking someone’s word without ask for sample as I usually do Yes I’m very picky when it comes to bbq, I can’t stand business that say the know bbq and don’t or cut corners, so I gave a $30.68 dollar donation because the food was NASTY never again! I will not be back and recommend any one who wants true and honest bbq research before shelling out lots of $$, I blame myself live and learn🤷🏻 NASTY...

Someone recommended me this place, but they never said the service was going to be horrible, the so called owner was very rude, condescending, disrespectful and arrogant. I had called to ask if they were open as the hours on thier Facebook page and Google map stated differently. By the attitude of the person that answered the phone, she seemed like she was having a bad morning and sure didn't care how she was talking to the customers, she sure showed no respect and integrity for her business. When i asked to speak to someone else, she was so proud to state, she was the owner and I could not speak to anyone else and hung up the call. If this is how she, the so called owner, treats the customers that are willing to spend over $300 dollars in meat. I can't imagine how she still has a business. I was looking for the Dino beef ribs; Which I ended up finding a better place, I recommend everyone to go to PRIME TIME BBQ, and TRIPLE A MEAT; both of these places have great customers service and exceptional meat products, they do treat thier customers with respect and...

Great food! Take it from someone who knows. I grew up with Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles with real deep pits in their backyards. My grandfather welded together bbqs as a side business. My dad was always asked to bbq tri-tip, chicken, and other food for every big event in Shafter. My grandparents also catered for friends and our church. I know good grilled meats and Martin's dose it exactly right! I've had their tri-tip, chicken, and pit beef at different times, both at their tent on Sundays and at their storefront downtown.
