Well, I had been a loyal customer since it opened; i would always get both mani and pedi in gel. It was close to my place, so super convenient and pretty clean. However, my last three experiences have been horrendous. My first bad experience was when the nail color (purple) started to discolor within the week and started turning brown. However, i did not think much as sometimes colors fade (though I would use better nail colors). The next time that I got my gel mani/pedi, the girl who did my manicure was in a hurry and admitted to not wanting to work, as she was off on a long vacation the following day onwards. They usually apply three coats of nail color; she applied two and when I requested the third, she brushed me saying the color would not look the same (like hello?). Anyhow, I went home and one fingernail chipped the very next day. Two more chipped the following day. I went back to the salon. The manager (a guy) said everyone was busy and I should come back in an hour or wait for an hour. As a working professional, I obviously did not have an hour to spare and I was planning to travel for work the following week. I went back and on the feedback form I wrote about my nail and the wait. No one ever contacted me or set up a time for me to come back and get my chipped nail fixed. Now I can understand the salons are busy etc. etc., although good customer service dictates a follow-up, especially if you pay over a $100 on get mani/pedi each time. So, I let go and went to the salon a couple months later that However, by this time I did request the manager (the same guy) that my nail chipped last time and it should not happen this time. He started getting rude saying you must have chipped it doing something and that he wasn't there to see when or if it ever chipped!!! I told him that he can check his feedback form, to which he said he doesn't wanna go over paperwork and I should have come back. I told him I had and that is where he lost it and said "I do not want to talk to you anymore" and walked away. Mind you, this is WHILE I AM GETTING MY NEW MANICURE. I DIDN'T even request anything else or any compensation, other than asking him to please tell his staff to be more diligent next time. He was so incredibly rude that I am never going there again. I felt humiliated, as if I am asking him for free service and not that I am paying over a $100 for a service they should provide, especially if the website gives a 7-day non-nail chip guarantee. My advice: if you go and the service is fine, well and good... but if there is ever an issue, they do not care if you are a loyal customer... apparently it is YOUR fault and you should just shut up and still pay!!! For a manager, I would count as pretty bad...

After a consultation I decided to get a fill in and gel with design… I ask for an abstract design which I provided a photo. I asked that my thumb and pointer finger outside design to be dark… as she did the designs I told her the lines very very thick she agreed but said it’s for the design she’ll be doing once she was done neither did I have dark on the out or was the design pleasing to the eye. She insisted to do it over that they like to do design and she already have spent time with me I said ok when she was done O was satisfied more so just wanted leave I got to the front and was charger 45 for a fill in 50 for design and 8 dollars extra for time….. just wow I’ll never see this tech again

Read moreI started coming to this nail salon a few months ago to follow my nail guy who started working here. He recently left, and I needed a pedicure badly, so I decided to do a walk-in… I was asked what type of pedicure I wanted and I went one step above the regular, which is $38 (I picked one for $43). I was in the chair for about 20 minutes total from start to finish, and in my head I was thinking, “she must have done the quick $38 regular pedicure, no way this was the $43 one…”Every single part of the pedicure was rushed, including the filing (my toenails aren’t even and I could have filed them better myself) and the polish job doesn’t look good, either. They weren’t busy at all, and she sat at her station on her phone while I was drying, so it’s not like there was any urgency, or need to rush. When she told me the price of $43, I told her that she must be mistaken. She argued with me and then ripped my credit card out of my hand in anger that I was asking to pay the $38 price (honestly, that was way too high for the job that she did…) and started talking to her employees about it right in front of me, rolling her eyes. I still sent her an $8 tip via Venmo because I thought “maybe she had a bad day” — but I have a feeling that’s probably how she normally does her pedicures, based on her entire attitude from start to finish. Upsetting because I really liked this place, and the owner seems super nice — but I definitely won’t be going back. I never do a walk in and usually book with people that I’ve had who I know are good, so...
