My wife, toddler, and I stopped in while visiting Bar Harbor - I’m fairly new to silver stacking and we don’t have a local coin shop near our home so I wanted to experience one and picked a doozy to start with - Mike was incredible and his shop is excellent. The selection was fantastic, prices very reasonable compared to everything I’ve bought previously, and I left with great examples of everything I’ve been collecting, plus some coins I didn’t know I needed but definitely did (looking at you Saint-Gaudens Lobster Lady!)

His inventory and pricing is core to business, but Mike really is the star here - he entertained my toddler, giving more than a fair share of high fives, explained stacking (as I’ve been unable to) to my wife, and taught us all about a bunch of fascinating coin stuff (he has a cob which is a suuuper cool piece of history). A couple walked in as we were leaving who had been in the previous day to say thanks for a local restaurant recommendation which sent us down a whole new rabbit hole - Mike’s an excellent human to spend an hour with.
