Review by Tyson Hi! My name is Tyson. My father, mother, brother and I visited Seattle about 3 weeks ago. And in the 4 days we stayed there on the 3rd day we visited your guy’s shop and when I walked in, man was it packed with cards and it was like card heaven. I mean you got a pokemon section, a basketball section and a soccer section. I first went to the soccer section and found multiple boxes that I wanted but they were all too expensive for me. My brother was on the right of me picking out a basketball box from 2023-2024 in hopes of pulling a Wemby card. So as I looked I saw a Topps Chrome Box that really caught my eye cause I saw you could get a guaranteed autograph card per box. So I bought it and I didn’t really want to open it at the shop. But my dad insisted I should so I did. And on my 3rd pack I let my dad open it and luckily I did cause he packed something that made the whole shop go nuts. We saw a little gold, and Brian said that was crazy cause a gold card can come in 3 different variations; a /50, /10 or a /1. An guess what my dad pack me?! A 1/1 Zidane Iqbal auto rookie card! The store went nuts and Brian and my dad and I were losing it. I was so happy! So at the end we had to go back to the hotel and Brian gave us some tips. Something like; It’s good you guys got something cool but if you sell it how much will you sell it for
how much will people be willing to pay for it. At the end of the day you value the card how you want
but just know it’s a hobby and it is just cardboard. Be smart at how you collect cards and know the values and have fun!’ I would will always remember this visit for the rest of my life. Brian, if you’re reading this, thank you again and we’ll visit you next time!

Review by Connor: I recently went to Collecters Corner NW, and let me just say I had a good time. First I went with my brother, my mom and my dad after we at lunch. I got a box of Revolution Basketball cards and got a Brandin Poziemski auto and my brother got a box of Topps Chrom and got a Ziddine Iqbual 1/1. Brian the card person said we were really lucky and should grade our cards. I really wanna come back to see Brian again and...

I had the privilege of collaborating with Brian(Bryan(sp.)?) at Collectors Corner NW, and I'm truly impressed by the exceptional experience he provided. Walking in with a collection of cherished Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and sports cards from my earlier years, I was both excited and uncertain about their potential value.

Brian's expertise and professionalism quickly put me at ease. He meticulously assessed the value of my collection and, more importantly, imparted invaluable insights into making well-informed decisions. What truly stood out was his dedication to guiding me, especially in light of our shared responsibilities as parents. He helped me navigate the process of choosing what to keep and sell, considering factors beyond just monetary value.

Brian's willingness to share his knowledge and provide practical advice created an environment of trust and confidence. His patient guidance and genuine concern for my best interests ensured that I was equipped to make decisions that aligned with my personal circumstances.

Despite my initial uncertainties, Brian secured a deal that not only met my expectations but far exceeded them. His ability to blend expertise with a compassionate approach made the entire experience incredibly gratifying.

Leaving Collectors Corner NW, I felt empowered and grateful for Brian's support. His commitment to educating and assisting me in making well-considered choices reflects his dedication to his craft and clients. I wholeheartedly recommend Brian and Collectors Corner NW to anyone seeking an expert who goes above and beyond to provide invaluable guidance and a remarkable experience.

Thank you again and I will see you...

I almost never leave reviews, but I feel a need to share about my visit today.  I had an amazing experience selling my pokemon cards. I have never sold to a card store before and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Brian was extremely transparent with how he came to the price for each of my cards. Of course, I could have made more money selling them privately. I have sold many of my pokemon cards online before, but it has become such a hassle that I was happy to bite the bullet and get less money than I could have. All things considered, I felt the prices offered to me at Collector's Corner were very fair.

Brian also took care to ask some questions about the story behind my cards. He explained how he tries to dissuade people from selling their sentimental cards for a quick buck. I was fully prepared to sell the cards I brought in, but nonetheless, I found the explanation thoughtful.

I consider myself a pretty introverted person. To be honest, I was feeling really drained already coming into the shop. However, time flew by as I chatted with Brian. He asked about why I was selling my pokemon cards. When I told him I was downsizing for an international move, we had a great conversation about traveling. I spoke with another friendly worker as well - I didn't catch his name, but he said he was from the Philippines. I left in a fantastic mood!

Overall I highly recommend this shop - the people are very friendly, knowledgeable, and...

Awesome new shop located in downtown bellevue, right down the block from my work at Microsoft. This card shop had an old school vibe reminiscent to the past local card shops I used to frequent back in the 80s and 90s, in my hometown state of Jersey. My former experiences with card shops like this have always been more negative than positive due to the people behind the counter always coming off a bit pretentious and condescending. Atypical experiences have been where if you ask a question or are not knowledgeable in any aspect of sports card culture or memorabilia they regard you with contempt. That was the exact opposite of what I experienced here. The owner, Johnny, was extremely knowledgable and welcoming. What was meant to be a quick pit stop for my friend and I, resulted in a 1+ hr conversation with the owner. Believe me, we asked a lot of very rookie questions, but he took his time and really engaged in the conversation. We learned a ton and can't wait to get back into the hobby. We picked up a couple of boxes, and got some really good hits. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended to anyone interested in the hobby!

The only place you’ll need to go for PokĂ©mon cards. Whenever you need em they have em with prices cheaper compare to their competitors it almost feel like you’re robbing them. The staffs are amazing and the community they built over time is priceless. During my visits, I’ve made friends there along the way with similar interest as mine. I truly appreciate their effort to create such a fun environment for us with no additional cost! Just make sure your schedule is free for the day when you come here because you’ll end up spending what it feels like minutes, hours with this wonderful people! I love you Bryan and JB!
