I have been going to Zen Rock for close to six months now and I must say I love Petra & all that she does for me and the gym. At first I received a free 60 min private session and she got to know me at the same time gave me a good workout. She supports and pushes me to work out harder than if I had worked out alone or in a group class. A 60-min personal training session is expensive but now I write down the exercises we did together and do them independently and improve on them for the whole week.
The Bellevue location is relatively new and is in a beautiful clean space, it’s got a warm and welcoming setting.
What I love about Petra? She’s a former athlete who knows not to overwork her clients, she knows the woman’s anatomy and aging process and targets the trouble areas. She gives me exercises and makes sure that I’m getting full range of motion and proper form. Workouts are never the same and always challenging. The best part is she’s so nice and provides good conversation so the workout isn’t boring but enjoyable and fun. My weekly 60 min with her goes quickly.

We are there 3 days a week & while my husband loves to be pushed to his limit every time, my hour is spent getting strong but also trying to negotiate on not doing any push ups (jk, kind of). Jacky is very thorough in explaining each exercise and what it is working in your body for your muscles. That is a huge bonus to me as I really want to get back into working out, to be challenged and to really get fit this year!
