I took my 20 yr old marquis wedding ring set into a very reputable Redmond Jewelers to have the gold tips and one of the channels checked and worked on. I live a distance from them and paid over $400 for the work done. When I picked it up, I was so upset because the channel was so deep that one my diamonds was so set in, it wasn't visible. The gold end of the channel did not line up like the other side in the center and there was a huge bump of gold on the side of the ring that stuck up and was so noticeable and just plain ugly. I returned to the store twice because the tips were still sharp and asked if they could smooth out the bump and somehow fix the set in diamond. They said they couldn't take off the gold once it was there. I wore it for over a year and finally took it to Pave Fine Jewelry. They were so busy (which is a good thing! and I left it. Molly quoted me a price and estimate of 4 weeks for the repair. When I was called the ring was ready I went in to pick it up and the jeweler, John, had done the most beautiful job on it that I never expected. He had smoothed out the gold bump on the end! and the tips were redone and the ring was so beautiful...I was speechless. Molly was very friendly and accommodating. I thanked John personally, who was very humble and made no big deal about it. I will always take all my jewelry there and will recommend everyone to Pave...
Read moreWe just got my ring back from being resized a few days ago, and I have to say, I’m really blown away! Not only was the store owner knowledgeable, straight forward, and kind with my partner when he brought the ring in, but the quality of the resizing is way above what I would have hoped for.
It’s a very small vintage ring with a teeny tiny stamp on the inside of the band. I needed to have it resized from a 4, nearly up to a 7, so honestly, I had come to terms with the fact that there was no way they’d be able to preserve the stamp. I figured I just needed to be okay with that, and that I was already pushing it trying to get such a dramatic size increase to begin with, let alone to keep such a tiny stamp.
Well imagine my shock when not only did I get a ring back with a perfect resize, but THE STAMP IS STILL PERFECTLY INTACT! I couldn’t believe it; the level of skill that must have gone into keeping that stamp there is incredible, and really shows a high level of care that they would go out of their way to do so in the first place.
If you have vintage jewelry that needs repaired/refitted that you’ve maybe been apprehensive about bringing in, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m so happy with the work they did for me, and I’ll be trusting them in the future if I ever need a...
Read moreThank you guys for providing my wife and I amazing service. I will try and make this long story bearable... A coworker and I both had anniversaries this last month and are both new to this area. We had both purchased our anniversary gifts out of state and needed someone local to help us with getting these rings sized. We had tanzanite ring to be sized and my coworker had a large emerald ring needing sized also. The first place we went to at the old mill didn’t really care to help us that much and somewhat rude so we left to find someone else to size these rings. We ended up at Pave and received the exact opposite customer service. They treated us like they cared about helping us and we’re exceptionally kind. They are with out a doubt light years better than Saxons and will come to Pave from now on. This simple service you provided us will gain you customers that are new to this area. Good for you guys and shameful for the...
