We had a very poor experience at this restaurant. We had to wait an hour for our food and our server was almost non-existent. They were clearly understaffed, but we understand that nowadays staffing restaurants can be challenging, so we were patient. We actually felt sympathetic toward our server who was clearly overwhelmed. However, she was extremely unfriendly and ignored people as they tried to get her attention. We only had water to drink but when that ran out it took 30 minutes to get a refill. When our food finally came, our Tom Yum soup with chicken was inedible because it was so fishy. We kept trying to get our server’s attention but she wouldn’t look at us and just kept running by our table. We finally had to practically yell to get her attention. We didn’t even finish the sentence “Our soup is too fishy to eat” before she rolled her eyes, grabbed our check (which she had dropped with the food) and ran. We were stunned. A few minutes later she came back and threw the check on our table and ran away again. At this point, we lost sympathy for her. We didn’t even have an option to order something different or get our soup replaced and she acted angry towards us. She had removed the soup from our bill, so I guess that is something. With so many other good Thai options in town, we most definitely will not be going...
Read moreWe have been coming here very frequently for years, and this time was the final straw. The waitress/hostess that is always here is incredibly rude and has no customer service at all. We ordered food and when we received it it was nearly cold, we sent it back to be warmed up and when she came back she slammed the plates on to the table(in the wrong spots) and stormed away while we had empty glasses of water. It's unfortunate because the food here is good. Also when we sent the food back she said nothing, when she brought it back and she said nothing. Every time we've been here, together, separately, or with our families and friends, we've always said that she seems like she hates life. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time, if I could give zero stars I would. If you don't mind a waitress that does nothing to even try and be nice or friendly come here. Otherwise there's plenty of other Thai spots in Bend that would treat you 10x better. Lastly, the food has gotten more and more expensive, it went from being a good 25 or so dollar meal to almost a 40 dollar meal every time. They wanna surcharge due to covid but clearly don't care about their customers going through the exact same hard times. If you're gonna charge more, at least have...
Read moreOverall, very impersonal service almost every time... At least at the counter, I have never dined in and won't be returning to find out.
My first time, I bought the Red and Yellow curries which were delicious!
We tried ordering for take out again, (which happened to be mother's day 😣) no one answer the phone so we decided to drive by to see if they were even open. As we walked in, they asked what are order name was and we explain that we couldn't get through on the phone and haven't placed an order yet. In the meantime, the phone rang, she turned away from us and took another order on the phone and walked into the kitchen without taking our order... we left and went somewhere else.
Our third attempt we ordered takeout, we went in, she promptly placed the food on the counter with the receipt and proceeded to turn away, take out her phone and look through it. This time we got the red curry again and the roast duck! The duck was particularly dry and didn't taste very...
