Big Bear Municipal Water District — Local services in Big Bear Lake

Bear is one of California places of beauty. Recently the Big Bear Municipal Water District worked with our family on putting a memorial bench near the launching ramp honoring our parents. They granted us the most beautiful spot on the lake. Two employees. Facility Manager Tim Bowman and Sean not only assisted us in the process but showed up and helped us install the 2800 pound cement bench. Our family can not say enough wonderful things about Tim and Sean, truly wonderful men. The lake is down 18 feet but the view from the lake is still breath taking. The lake is fine! More than plenty of water for any recreation needs! Come boat, jet ski, kayak, anything you want. The news media have misrepresented that the lake is "almost dry", liars. It is perfect! The lake has only been "full" something like twice in 50 years. This is the most normal of lake levels that I've seen since 1954....
