TERRIBLE customer service. I never write reviews, but felt compelled to after the customer service I received when trying to have my daughter’s Christmas stocking embroidered. The sales associate embroidered the stocking the wrong color and told me to buy another stocking and they would embroider it the correct color and and reimburse me for the cost of purchasing the replacement stocking. I was called twice and told the new stocking was ready (when it wasn’t) and showed up to the store unnecessarily with an infant in tow. When the replacement stocking was finally ready and I went to pick it up, the owner refused to reimburse me for the replacement stocking despite what her sales associate told me and said she bought the replacement stocking herself. I had a big shower last month. I received several cute items from Lil Rascals and needed to exchange a couple things for bigger size/different color. I had the gift receipts for the purchases I was looking to EXCHANGE and was told by a very kind sales associate that the return policy was 14 days and that I could not exchange anything bc it was past the 14 day policy. What?! Seriously? I’ve never heard of this type of policy in any store, especially a small business who serves a huge clientele from Birmingham/Bloomfield. Cute stuff but do NOT recommend to purchase anything there for a friend or family member’s shower. Amazing experience today at Lil Rascals! I went there today for the first time to make my first purchase in anticipation of my daughter (due in February!). The selection of clothes was amazing- there were so many cute things of all different styles and brands! I loved that they had organic bamboo fabrics too. I ended up buying more than I had planned simply because there were too many great things to choose from! The ladies there were SO much fun and really enhanced my shopping experience. They were so knowledgeable and helpful and truly shared in my excitement! I typically shop exclusively online, but I can say with absolute certainty I’ll be back...
