BANANA ink — Local services in Boise

I have purchased many hats and stickers off Banana Ink's website but I have yet to go to their store front. After brunch we walked to this joint to see what kind of stuff they had.

Walking in, you are slapped in the face with Idaho! I love living here and I love to see our state on every piece of merch in this joint. From the shirts to coffee mugs to patches, they have a little of everything for your Idaho lover. Banana Ink is your go to joint for that unique gift to take home for your out of towners. Or it's just a great joint to hit up for us Idaho loving locals.

I would give this place 5 stars but the sales associate didn't acknowledge us once. She was chatting it up with someone when we were on our way out but not one hello or can I help you find anything. Nothing ruins a shopping experience than a rude sales associate. With an experience like today, I would rather purchase my stuff online. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Lana, the pioneer and owner behind Boise's Banana Ink General Store. From the moment I walked in her shop, she greeted me with kindness and genuine interest. Five minutes into a conversation with her confirmed her shop is every bit as authentic, cool, and storied as she is. Her eclectic inventory is a reflection of all that's unique about Idaho and its talented artisans.

I always shop local and small shops but after my last experience I well never shop there again. Some of the most rudest and disrespectful people I’ve ever met. Walked in wanting to buy a few shirts and left feeling disrespected and belittled. It’s hard to believe that a fellow Idaho and would treat another fellow Idaho and like that. Never again...
