As a tourist in Boise, this boba shop really intrigued me as I was recommended by a few people NOT to visit here. I walked in and the decor was unique… The menu was insultingly simple and looked down on my intelligence calling the tapioca pearls “rEgULaR.” The line for boba had 2 orders ahead of me and it still took around half an hour for me to get my drink. The wait was not worth it. The ratio between ice, tea, and boba was worse than Whale tea and even worse than dolphin tea! Oh, sorry, did I say tea?? Whatever the drink was, it was definitely not tea. I got the lychee tea and it tasted like painkillers. I asked for no ice but was still given a cup filled 50% with ice! I should have listened to everyone and not gone in the first place, but I feel like it was my duty to try it and not build a judgement off of the opinions of the locals, EVEN IF THEY...
Read moreI haven't been to this joint for a hot minute. There's a Boise Boba conveniently by my house so I always stop at that one before I head downtown. I wanted something sweet to drink this afternoon. The District is my usual go to since they are across the street from me. But they are currently closed for the building remodel so I made me way to Boise Boba.
It was later in the afternoon when I stopped in. It was chill. The sweet gal that was working was hanging out. I looked over the menu board to see if there were any new flavor combos I might have missed. I have pretty much tried all their fruity teas and they are all so good. I went with the Berry Nice today.
My drink was good as usual, nice and fruity. The lychee jellies are a fun touch to the drink. Baby girl that a working was really sweet. Glad I stopped in today for an...
Read moreI can’t believe they don’t have the brown sugar Boba. That is the best boba in the world and they don’t have it. It is also the really easy to make to which I still can’t understand why they don’t have it. Because of that, I had to settle for other boba. And they are so mediocre for that price. The flavors are bland and boring. I thought: “Maybe they have good service to redeem them self” but not really. The girl who works there wasn’t knowledgeable about the product so I ended up getting something different than what I thought.
Thanks, Boise Boba. If you want to get some great authentic Boba, go to TBAAR in Meridian it’s worth the drive. Trust me!!! And they have the brown sugar Boba!
People probably like this place because they never had a good Boba in their life so they don’t know...
