Paella Friday was super fun & tasty! We sat in an outside table under the shade of a tree awaiting our street pealla, eating small saucy meatballs with toasted buttery bread. So nice! Lovely free ice water with my brother getting his 'bubble' water, (not still) peligrino bottle. while we watched the last of the giant metal flat pan of pealla being stirred. It a flavorful main dish of rice with different seafoods and sausage and veggies included. The best bite has a bit of the socarrat, a crunchy bite of cooked rice from the bottom of the pan. Ours had thay along (with saffron) & a big shrimp, clam, mussel etc. This happens each Wednesday & Friday each week with the Basque community. Not to be missed, at least once a Spring!

First time to Boise and the downtown area, and I loved it! This is a beautiful city - capital city with an amazing capitol. Lots to see and do. There is a very nice plaza close by and there is lots of shopping and dining available. I hope to return to Boise soon!

A very cool historical building in downtown Boise. All sorts of interesting and informative displays to look at! This is my favorite area on Downtown Boise, there's a little bit of something for everyone.

We loved the old historical town with a multitude of restaurants and shopping stores. Ate breakfast at Goldy's Restaurant who specializes in breakfast and lunch. It was very crowded and had a balcony eating area. The restaurant building is over a hundred years old and the bathrooms were only accessible by stairs with small hallways and doors. I had scrambled eggs with spinish and sausage that they skimped on which left the eggs lacking flavor. My husband d enjoyed his breakfast so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. They also have a bakery on the corner which...

My daughter and I have really grown to enjoy the downtown area of Boise Idaho. The area is busy but still a very nice too, we have made this a yearly visiting area. I can't wait to get back there, one day I may not leave. We really like the closeness to all of the activities that surrounds this...
