Wiseguy Pizza Pie — Restaurant in Idaho

When I ordered the food. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and pleasant to talk with which is always great not to be rushed when ordering from a new place.

I ordered the Fat Guy with mushrooms a Cheese steak with extra mushrooms and extra cheese along with the boneless wings(Buffalo)

The food came extra fast, I placed my order at 20:25 and it was at my door by 21:00 The gentleman that delivered the food was very nice and deserves lots of praise for his friendliness and kind demeanor.

Now on to the food.... the cheesesteak was by far the best i've had from a restaurant in Idaho....I would go as far to say I would put it up against Jim's cheesesteaks in Philadelphia. A+++ The pizza was crisp and very flavorful which we enjoyed very much. The wings were Grade A+ The chicken was tender and was actual chicken not the processed garbage, you get from other places. You could actually see the texture of the meat and know it was chicken. The Buffalo sauce was excellent, very tangy and rich in flavor.

My only Regret is not remembering the name of the gentleman on the phone or the name of the delivery driver. (They deserve to be praised by name.)

In short this place will be my new Pizza and Cheesesteak place

The owner is a JERK to put it nicely! My husband I went into Wiseguy's and asked if we could buy just two waters. He handed me back my card and said no charge which I thought was very nice! We looked around the restaurant and noticed that there was only about five people total in the restaurant we took a seat at a back table and began discussing what slice of pizza we wanted (even though we weren't hungry) we wanted to buy something because he gave us the free waters. Not even five minutes after sitting down the owner came over and slammed down a menu on our table and said "this is not a charity, order something or get out!" He went on for probably five more minutes before my husband interrupted him and said okay we get it we will get out. During his rant I couldn't help but mention the beer in his hand which might have had something to do with his wildly inappropriate behavior! I have been a waitress and I understand that if the restaurant is full you don't sit down and take a table that someone who is buying food can use. However, there were only four people in the restaurant total so I didn't think the owner would mind. I will NEVER go back to this place again and I encourage all my friends not to support a business with an owner that was so rude to his...

Let me start by saying the experience only deserves 3 stars because the crust is solid. Beyond that, what a disappointment! We've ordered specialty pizzas from this shop 3-4 times prior and were disappointed in the execution with the toppings, but we ordered the Margarita Guy this time around thinking August in Boise would guarantee a good product. Wrong. Tomatoes were flavorless, obviously commercial, and not even remotely covered the pie although we're right in the middle of tomato season. Basil was lacking and added little. Overall, a flavorless pizza. This is especially disappointing because other NY style pizza shops (Guido's for one) would charge half the price with twice the flavor on essentially the same pizza. Wiseguy: wake up and realize you are a small Idaho business in the middle of summer! Even without dropping your ridiculous prices, you could take advantage of the local food movement, get amazing produce to feature on popular pies and KILL IT! Please do.
